Shelfie 3 Track Test

Having completed the wiring loom, the next stage had been painting the track. A two colour blend of Halfords Grey primer, and then a top cover of their camouflage brown is the basic scheme. Once the rail heads are cleaned I use a short wheelbase rigid chassis loco to try the track on DC. This is a fast way to find any areas of poor conducting track, and the resolve the issues before doing anything else.
