Ajuga Chocolate Chip and Viola Etain

While I was at the Meijer store where I originally bought the plant, I took a look around. It was a fortunate day for me; I discovered three quart-sized plants of this variety on clearance. I suspect they were reduced because we're approaching the last frost date, and these spring bloomers needed to be sold. Regardless, the plants were in excellent condition.

The containers are pleasantly deep, and I can spot several roots emerging from the bottom, indicating a healthy plant. The design of this container allows for easy relocation around the garden to find the perfect spot before committing to digging a hole.
The plants were such a barging I also grabbed a few viola perennials to add to this space.
