have tons of squirrels in my neighborhood. they got every single crocus bulb i planted a few years ago. looks like chicken wire may be the best way to prevent this. would just have to be careful with it. read a quick article about it, and it seemed like 90% of the paragraphs were trying to sell me something lol. i really like your garden. keep up the good work =)
@@nMystic-nv2qf luckily for me, the squirrels only come fall & spring then they disappear the rest of time if I’m lucky they’ll only collect the acorns as well as horse nuts but sometimes they dig up the bulbs in spring/fall as the store acorns and horse nuts in my garden. I think I lost 25% of the crocus when I was looking at it this past spring but we’ll see how it turns out next year and thank you for the advice and for the compliment. I’ll definitely look into chicken wire.
I grow alot of the species tulips 😊, they’re short, so front and center, also they do well in containers, after they’re done in the ground they go. You’re gonna be busy.❤
