ATTENTION ATTENTION ❤❤❤ This video is the best video ever made since yt was created as a platform. I do not post many comments under videos but this video is just an absolute PERFECTION! It helps a lot to understand how to use settings in the machine in the most easiest way ever. Clear and simple steps that is what we need guys. You are a legend in my opinion thank you very much for posting this perfect video! Have a great day ahead and all the best. Planet Earth needs people like you! Great Job! Thank you for reading my comment and your attention. 👍👍👍👍👍🏆🏆🏆
I literally searched for hours how to adjust the water ratio to coffee ratio and couldnt find anything till yours. My espresso shots were pouring a full cup of water to one shot and now after i followed your directions, it's perfect! No more watered down espresso! Thank you!!!!!
Great job in explaining! Love how precise and to the point your instructions are! No drawn out unnecessary talks. And your voice and tone is delivered with inflection which makes the audience listen attentively. Delongi should pay you for doing such a great job in educating their consumers 👏
Holy cow! Thank you thank you thank you! Now i can finally enjoy my machine! Your video was entertaining. To the point. Easy to follow instructions! Much appreciated!
Amazing. I was so disappointed as l couldn't find anywhere in the instructions amd other videos how to adjust the level of water for my coffees without having double shot of caffeine. Very greatful for your video 🎉 Many thanks 👍
You’re the best! It’s so helpful to see how you do this. The grind coarseness with this DeLonghi machine confused me, as I wasn’t sure whether to turn the dial literally while it was actually grinding or just slightly after! So thanks for showing us when to do this 😃 I have to say that’s a weird feature and confusing! They should have made that a bit more straightforward in my opinion. Your instructions are great! And you’re descaling video was amazing and I just descaled my machine after putting it off for weeks, but you made it look very simple 🙏🏽 What brand coffee do you use?
Thanks for the love, Liz! Makes me happy knowing my videos helped you in several ways. 😁 I like to try out different coffee beans. Being in Australia, we get heaps of different varieties. However, the one we have most often is Vittoria, simply because it’s the brand that’s most readily available in Coles or Woolworths.
ty for the video .. i wish that was a future that can tweak the temp of the milk .. i find it actually not hot enough for my liking .. i wish if there is a work around for that .
Thank you! My magnifica does not make hot coffee, but your explanation about how to control water temperature were very helpful. The manual is extremely confusing!
Good video. One thing I would expand on. When the grinder has beans in it it stops you from making a finer adjustment on the grind because it can't squash the beans in between grinders and you will break it. It is not that the machine needs to be running but you must make the adjustment in the short time the bean is actually grinding. I do not think you need to do it for backing it out for a larger grind but if it is difficult to move the dial I would do it the same as making it finer.
I’m deciding between the Magnífica Evo and Philips 3300. Seems like the UI of the Magnífica is more complex than the Philips, but most reviewers prefer the quality of the coffee made by the Magnífica.
Thanks Gabe. Delonghi is not very good with instructions and explaining things. One thing I still haven’t figured out is when using preground coffee when do I have to put in the grounds specifically for the non milk options i.e black coffee
I kinda noticed that too with their user manual. Check out my video Entitled Use and Review. There’s a section there on how to use preground coffee with the Magnifica Evo. Hope that helps
Thanks for the gr8 content! I was wondering whether you can make a video on using the Pre-ground coffee option. It seems to be tricky to get right and I'm sure a lot of people would benefit from learning some tips.
Appreciate the love, Mohammed. Check out my other video entitled Magnifica Evo Use and Review, mate. If you go to the 3:15 mark, you’ll find a section there on how to use the pre-ground coffee option. Hope this helps!
Thanks, Bernie. Cleaning the hopper would have been a nice one. Missed that. But I just use a paper towel to wipe the internal surface. That’s it. We have to avoid getting the grinders wet. Hope this helps
Love this video, thanks so much! I have a a touch of "CBA" when it comes to instruction manuals 😂. I unboxed mine and set this up today, and to my disappointment, the milk wasn't coming out of the carafe, just a whole lot of steam! I realised there's a black tip missing from the bit that connects the carafe to the machine. I've contacted customer support, so hopefully will get a replacement. Has this happened to anyone else?
Fantastic video. I tried to watch several others and hands-down, yours is always the most helpful easy to follow and most understandable. Way to go.! The one thing I’m having trouble with is my cleaning my coffee filter. I’m squeezing in those little red buttons on the side and I cannot get the filter out. I think mine sits a little more square than yours in the video. But I can’t get it out to clean the coffee filter. Any tips on that? I couldn’t find any videos about the coffee filter?
Hmmm? Did you pull the power plug out before you tried to pull out the filter? You need to make sure that the machine is completely off when you do that. Otherwise, you may need to call customer service. Hope this helps
Just one issue, you should only adjust the grind while the grinder is running. I.e. while the beans are being consumed by the machine. The reason for this is to prevent damage to the grinder by causing it to jam . If you adjust the grind when the grinder is not running, you can jam coffee beans between the grinding surfaces. By having the grinder running while adjusting, this bean jamming can't happen. You're half way correct in you make a coffee while adjusting, but you only have a brief few seconds to do this while the beans are moving in the hopper.
You hold-press for 5 seconds the “My Latte”, “foamed Milk”, and “X2” buttons together. That’s how you restore the values and settings of the machine. Hope this helps!
As he mentioned....it could be the the type of milk you are using. For instance oat milk doesn't frost very well or at all. Normal2 percent works really well. My machine didn't recognize the container had milk in it when I used a certain type of fat free milk. I thought my machine was broke, but as soon as I started using a different milk it worked perfectly.
Thanks very much Gabe for getting back to me, I have ordered the this machine and your videos helped me a lot to make that decision but I have a question re the my latte function, if you press the 'my latte' button again in the middle of the operation, will it stop pouring milk? Thanks again
Yes. It will stop the milk from pouring. I guess it’s a way to give you control over how much milk your latte will have. No worries! Happy to know my videos helped. Good luck with your new machine!
Thank you so much! great video but I’m not a big fan of the hot coffee so i wish if i could know how to make ice coffee with this machine or at least how to control the temperature of the milk
Skip ahead to 1:09. That’s where I talk about how to adjust the temp. If you want iced coffee, then you just need to add ice cubes to the drink that you’re making. Hope this helps.
Watching your video I almost pulled the trigger to buy this machine but when I read many reviews I got confused. Some people love the machine but some people hate it. You have had yours for quite some time I was wondering if you had any regrets? What do you think about the origin of the negative reviews, inconsistent manufacturing or people don't follow the instructions of the manufacturer? By the way, thank you for the good job video instructions always make things easier. Your feedback is appreciated.
Thanks for your feedback! Really appreciate it. I think it must be inconsistent manufacturing.y experience has been great though. The machine’s almost 2 years with me and it still works like new
Thanks for the video 👍However, it is incorrect to say "you should only adjust the grinder while the machine is in the process of making a coffee". According to Delonghi, you must only adjust the grinder while the grinder is running.
May I please ask for you to share a video demonstrating how to set the machine back to the factory setting? After resetting the milk and water settings on my drinks, I rather have them back to the factory setting. Please and thank you!
In my magnifica evo, when i select cappuccino the milk comes before coffee, how to do to have coffee before milk ? Thank you for your video .. really helps
All good. Thanks for the clarification. Hehe. I guess all you have to do is pour one espresso shot and then make a cappuccino. Keep in mind that there is no way for you to adjust the foaminess with the machine. Hope this helps!
You’re welcome! I’m not sure what you mean about ‘cream with milk’. Do you mean to say ‘coffee with milk’? If so, make sure the milk bottle/frother is attached to the machine. If this still does not work, then you might have to contact customer service. Hope this helps
Hi Gabe you have got yourself a new sub for your great video, How do you cancel your entry to get back to the original settings in terms of the amounts of water/milk? Thanks
Thanks for the support! Goes a long way! If you’ve already changed the setting, the only way I know how is to restore it to factory settings. My newest video touches on how to restore it to factory settings.
Thank you for the video! My question is, I have seen other videos of this same machine where it dispenses the milk first, then the espresso. Is there a setting for this? Thank you again!
This was a great video for most issues but the temperature tweak didn't make the temperature hotter for an espresso. Is the "My Latte" button for all coffee selections or just a latte?
Your video is perfect, thank you. I have a question. I try to adjust the amount of water, the process ends before my glass is full. my glass is 250 ml. Is it normal?
I have the machine that has the latte option. Do you know if you are able to increase the water quantity default? I would like my latte serving to be larger. Thanks!
oh weird, so I'm finding that there are many models of the Magnifica Eco, with different model numbers, but the BUTTONS are different too! Your model shows: My Latte Foamed Milk, Capuccino Mix, Espresso, Coffee, Doppio+, Hot Water. While many models on other videos have: My Latte, Latte Macchiato, Cappuccino, Espresso, Coffee, Long, Hot Water. I wonder if it's different countries or different models? Also the latte and cappuccino are different.
Yeah. I did notice that too. I think it’s a bit of both. There’s different models of the Magnifica Evo AND some countries have varying button displays.
Dude, this might be the most honest straightforward how to video I’ve ever seen. Great job!
Cheers, bro! Appreciate it.
Please continue the format. When you do, get a wireless lavalier microphone to improve sound quality 🙏
@@kenibarwick thanks for the tip!
It always amazes me how guys like you make more useful UA-cam videos than the manufacturers. Thanks!

Delonghi should just put a link to this video in their manual, it’s that good. Well explained, good job!
Thanks!!! Appreciate it. Glad to know it helped!
I believe you have to turn the grinder adjustment while the machine is grinding the coffee. Not while its making coffee.
Very informative video!
Yup! Thanks for pointing that out. Thanks!
Went from super frustrated with the manual to super expert with this video lol thanks for breaking it down!

Yeah. I kinda did it too late in the video. Thanks for pointing it out though

Kind of like changing gears on a bike only while the chain is moving.

Just one issue, you should only adjust the grind while the grinder is running. I.e. while the beans are being consumed by the machine.

Thanks thats its what i need its perfect
You’re welcome!
Your video is perfect, thank you. I have a question. I try to adjust the amount of water, the process ends before my glass is full. my glass is 250 ml. Is it normal?
Hmmm? I dunno. I’ve never really tried to adjust the water quantity to that extent. Maybe it has a limit? Sorry
I have the machine that has the latte option. Do you know if you are able to increase the water quantity default? I would like my latte serving to be larger. Thanks!
Yes. You can definitely do that. I
I have a video where I specifically talk about how to do that.
oh weird, so I'm finding that there are many models of the Magnifica Eco, with different model numbers, but the BUTTONS are different too!
