1978 Chevy K30 Scottsdale - Авто та транспорт
A husband who is mature enough to slow down, drive save, and keep a beautiful old rig on the road is a keeper!
The way he turned his hat around was perfect. What a legend
Love this! I turn 50 this year and grew up in setup just like this. Keep it up using this thing going places and posting!
There’s a feeling you get from being in a single cab truck with a camper topper sittin above the hood.
Yea, I am jealous of you guys ---don't get me wrong. Being, 65 . Retired from restoration game and wheel'in and deal'in, suits me fine and the wife even better, !!!!!! Damn near 50 years of dairy farming and resto. --I like watch'in you do it from afar!!!!!! Be careful out there ---lot's of crazies roaming the back uncharted territory. Use and respect our first ammendment --If I were you I'd "BEAR" arms. Have Fun !!!!!!!!! Jim & Jill Kiesau
Good for you guys
I'm building an 83. Totally dig yer Rig bruhda!!!!!!!
Congratulations on the first truck camper camp out! It must be very rewarding after all of that hard work. I’ve always wanted to camp there.
190 trans temp seems rather high. I had similar temps in my th 400 so I installed a Derale transmission pan (with the cooler tubes welded in bottom of the pan) along with a Derale cooler 'with fan' up front underneath the core supt on my Suburban.
It seldom sees 140 now. Great investment. Also use Mercon 6 trans fluid. Only slightly more expensive than Mercon 4 or 5.
Love the square body!
I that video was awesome! I had a smile on my face from beginning to end. I hope to see both of you exploring in the truck camper more often!
Hopefully my re-build turns out as well. Thanks for turning me on to this channel, very informative.
Beautiful truck, camper and adventure
That's why you drive a manual like me. I've never owned an automatic car in my life. And I've never blown a transmission! And I'm an old geazer!
HUGE congratulations to you both, what an incredible feeling it must be to reach this point in the journey. Thank you for the many hours of entertainment you have provided us. Cheers!!
So happy to you got this beautiful rig out camping! I tuned in quite some time ago when you were tearing it all apart. Congrats!
Thank you for the comment. And thank you for my 1st super thanks! I know you have tons of projects going now, but I remember some of the first videos of your lance TC and your “Clapper”.
Nice rig ! I bought an 80 or 81 Chevy Once for a song . I thought it was knocking, and found the Flywheel was cracked. $20 wrecking yard fix .
Good deal! 73-87 Chevys have a good reputation
I'm a ford guy but that's a beautiful truck.
I love the Pickup! Would love to have that same setup for plenty of weekend fishing trips!
Enjoy

Successful project! Congrats. Amazing that fridge is still working, but that tells a lot about absorption fridges and their simplicity.

Nice camper setup, great trip. I have a Sun line camper on a tundra but it’s a pop up
Lake Placid rocks!

Fantastic !! Glad to see you made it .But sad the Journey is over
You should be proud of your accomplishment. Enjoy !!!
Start thinking of your next project . lol
Such an inspiration man.. I have some what same camper. I want to paint mine but iam going to use spray paint. Iam pretty good at spray painting. I only baught mine for 300.0 any way . So iam not going to do the paint job you did I think what I have in mind will look good enough. I can't wait to go camping... Yours is way bigger than mine and has a different lay out than yours. I think I like my lay out better.
Definitely looked like a blast of a trip for sure!!! I love camping and have been trying to figure out what to get for camping in??? I’ve thought about redoing an inclosed trailer that I have or even buying a smaller camper of some sort?? But I definitely like not having any payments on things!!! All my stuff is paid for and really have been enjoying no payments for the past 6 ,7 years!! My parents have a nice camper and my grandma and grandpa have a really nice motor home also!! My whole family loves going camping but I’m pretty sure I’m the one that does more than all of them!! Lol! I’d definitely love to see more trips that you guys do for sure!!!!
Love it!!!!
I’ve been following this from the beginning and man oh man good job!!! You do good work sir
Surf fishing use shrimp and walkout as far as you can cast and walk back in
Thanks for the tip!
Found your channel when you commented on Kenny's channel. I sub'd and look forward to more camping videos. You and Kenny make me excited to give it a try again. Cheers! ~M

Awesome job guys
Great video
Thanks!
Thank you for the support. More adventures to come!
Congratulations on your first saltwater fish!! You guys have any plans to do any 4x4 camping with that beautiful setup?
Thanks! Yes there are plans to go on some off-roading camping trips, but I need to work on the truck and camper to get it more reliable for off-road abuse first.
if you keep that camper body on that truck lower the truck back to factory height or your going to flip the truck on its side
Add separate oil cooler.
That looked like a fun trip. The camper goes so well with the truck. Looks great! 🎃
love that fckn truck!!!
Why does that HOME BUILT camper have a manufacturers logo on it?
The camper was fully rebuilt from ground up. I used some of the parts from the sunline camper. See my camper build playlist if you are interested. Thanks for comment.
Its true redneck camp
