Press i when in the landscape editor and a pop up window will appear showing the textures used. So H, then select the window you're viewing to make it active, then I (i). Eliminates having to search all landscape textures for which one is used.
It's not just a seam fix that is the issue, there's a mod I downloaded that adds another small settlement near Riverwood across the river, when I walked up to it.. none of the trees were touching the ground in the appeared to be floating and they were a lot of collision issues (you can walk through the landscape as if it wasn't there) and you had to jump up to the steps of each of the settlements just to get to the buildings.. I don't know who created this mod and I don't remember the name of it right now.. but it seems like it was made by an amateur.. (no offense) I wanted to send this comment directly to the content creator but there is no box here to post a comment. Apparently it seems like it is disabled?
I really appreciate videos like these. They may seem a bit obscure to the average player but for those of us who do a lot of modding, the information is a godsend.
Wow! This is the vid I’ve wanted to see for years. Finally I’ve got an idea about what I can do to solve issues rather than hoping someone else will create and update a mod for me. Thank you
Videos like these are sooo helpful for ppl that are just starting to mod. Thanks for taking time and sharing this stuff man. Also on one note, I think if you hold CTRL and right click on any texture, the brush will change to that texture so you don't have to figure out its name by sampling every time
Thank you is so much for this guide it would be really nice if you could make a playlist on all of these guides your slowly becoming the new gamer poets.
Very useful video. Biggie I will ask on the discord, but would you ever do a tutorial on fixing vampire eyes, random and named npc's? Sounds silly but it's plagued people for years.
Hey biggie, sorry for asking this here, i really like ur modlists, but icant use it cause of my pc. So ive been thinking of installing only the npcs u havr in lorerim 2.0, was watching u kill the giants on the stream and really loved the npcs. So, if i install all of the npcs mods u have in lorerim will i have all the npcs like urs, or i would need to change something with other mods? If yes, could u plz tell me what u did? Anyeay, sry for bothering u here. Thanks Ps. Thanks.for the video, its really useful for.when.i get.my pc next year

Super useful tip!
You can also "ctrl + click" on the map while having the H window open to automatically select the texture you just clicked on. Happy modding!

Godamn Lorerim is in good hands. Thanks for everything Biggie!
Biggie is turning into gamerpoets with a slightly less smooth ASMR voice 😂
Gamerpoets has some of the best video guides ive ever seen, soothing, calming voice, straight forward guides, super easy to follow nice and slowly.
You don't have any idea how many times have I deleted a modlist cause of this crap!!!! Thank you so much man! ❤

Yup, and this video showed up just as i saw some seam issues on my skyrim lol
The little aside on fixing land gaps was worth the price of admission all on its own!
Still very new to modding this video helped a lot with getting into terrain editing, good stuff.
Thank you for everything you do for the community, despite all the crap you have to deal with.
With every video you make me want to start playing Skyrim. ❤

That's awesome I've been waiting for this thanks boss
Awesome vid, so helpful
I had these issues with my own list and had no idea it could be this easy to fix
Everything seams easy when you’ve got a guy like Biggie
Thanks Biggie. Would love to see more videos like this in the future. Just fixing annoying bugs that pop up. Thanks man.
Thank you is so much for this guide it would be really nice if you could make a playlist on all of these guides your slowly becoming the new gamer poets.
It should be in a playlist
@@biggie_boss my bad thanks
Biggie you are the man!! Thank you so much for making videos like this.😀
this is helpful normally the best i got is using xedit to forward landscape records when there are holes that's about my limit.
Awesome guide, thanks for this :D Been hoping to break into using the Creation Kit and help others with it
Just ran into this issue at Helen. Thanks, Biggie
Super helpful, thank you!
Amazing stuff!
Please also create a tutorial on how to fix clipping objects and trees. That is the final thing I need to learn for my modlist.
Northern Roads is the first thing to go to even without blinking lol
Thanks, you are Boss.

THANK YOU!!!
I think you can press I to have the landscape textures window come up and show you what is painted on the quads
Thank you so much!

Biggie what's the combo of UI mods that have everything showing at the bottom left?
hey biggie are you a game dev or just learned how to use creation engine
what is the use for the dummy "patch" plugin? Can't i just modify the terrain in Creation Kit and save? Thank you in advance
Not sure why but your videos always frizz when watching on our Hisense tv ? Then we have to reboot the whole tv
I’m confused how Synthesis works):
Please what is this Hud i need this one!
I get parallax spikes on ground textures after fixing a seam even without any painting :( using ngvo
Repaint the spiky area with landscape textures
So this would work as a northern roads patch?
Yes, you can do this with Northern Roads seams
@@biggie_boss awesome!
No more waiting for patches 💪🏻
Thanks man!
I love and hate northern roads 😂 it's so damned hard to get working correctly on larger load orders
So you actually prefer starfield?
I literally rage deleted my own mod list because of these problems, you’re the goat for making this guide 🫠
