I love the idea of this device and am very happy to see your videos covering games on it! I wonder how Monster Hunter Rise would run on this device? I'm sure you'd have to lower settings and resolution, but it is a port of a Switch game so it may be playable on the Loki Zero. Thanks for the video!
I just browsed through my steam library and to my own surprise I found Monster Hunter Rise. I also have Monster Hunter World. So nothing stands in the way of a test. I'll let you know when the video is ready.
How would this device perform for games like hades, dead cells, spiritfall, prince of persia, afterimage, ori games? Im assuming better than a Nintendo switch?
Hades and Dead Cells have pretty low system requirements. So I assume they will just run fine. I don't own those games and couldn't find any demo so I can't try them. Wiill they perform better than on a Switch? I am not sure. You could tweak them to get higher fps, like lowering the resolution. But for example Hades runs on Switch at 720p/60fps. The Loki Zero has a 6inch screen. Most people won't see any differenc between 720p and 1080p on this small screen anyway. On contrary, I prefer a lower resolution for some games. Text in particular can sometimes be completely unreadable at higher resolutions. You will see it in a upcoming video where I show the Football Manager 2015. I need a magnifying glass to be able to play the game on the Loki Zero. Everything is so tiny.
Frankly I didn't expect sf6 to run in any playable fps but that I wasn't able to start it at all did suprise me a little. But on the other hand, the Athlon Silver 3050e was announced in 2020. Four years ago. For that age I think it is respectable what it can run.
I don't own any Call of Duty game. But Call of Duty Warzone is free to play. I will try it in the next video. But as it is from 2022, I don't think the device will show more than a slide show🙃
Hey there! Thnx for the video man, there aren't many videos about this device capabilities out there. Does Loki Zero have options for TDP? Can you max out the wattage? Oh man i would tell you a lie if i tell you that i don't have a big list of games i would love to watch how they perform on this device. I will write them down here and if you want and have the time, maybe you can test some of them. My list goes like this: Crysis 1, Far Cry 3, Bioshock 1, Doom 2016, Battlefield 1 2016, Fallout New Vegas, Mass Effect 1-2, Dead Space 1-2, Assassin's Creed Black Flag, Assassin's Creed Syndicate, Assassin's Creed Odyssey, GTA IV, GTA V, Forza Horizon 3 & 5, Dirt 3, Football Manager, NBA 2k14 & 2K22, Efootball 2021, PES 13, Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 1 + 2 Remastered, Saboteur, Warhammer Soulstorm, Age of Mythology.
Ayn has a extra software where you can tweek some settings about the cpu. I will show it in the next video. I will have a look which of the games you mentioned I own and will try them. For Bioshock, I do have the normal and the Remastered version. Any preferecenes?
@@tianonly Thank you! It's really nice of you. Well as for the Bioshock, is was thinking about the original, but whatever its more cool for you, i don't have a problem.
@@tianonly I really want to see if this device with maxed out tdp wattage can perform well on some bigger titles even in 720p low settings with FSR and everything. If this device can play Assassin's Creed Odyssey with +- 30fps it would be amazing.
@@tianonly Hey man how are you? I just dropped by to see if you posted something new about the test. I was also curious how this device will perform with Citra emulator, PPSSPP emulator, Dolphin Emulator, Yuzu emulator, Duckstation, PCSX2 emulator. I was thinkin something like The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker (GC), The Legend of Zelda: Link's Awakening (3DS), Super Mario Sunshine (GC), Vigilante 8 (PS1), Sly 2: Band of Thieves (PS2), Blinx: The Time Sweeper (XBOX OG). If you got the time plz make a video about them also. It would be nice if you could test them through Batocera, because they got the emulators preconfigured, so it will me much easier to play them out of the box with the best possible performance. Also if you do it with Batocera, you can just installed it in a fast micro sd and work it without the need oc changing the Loki Zero OS.
@@Alexandros_Alpha At the moment I am filming the games you mentioned in your intial comment (at least the ones I do own😇). It is a little time consuming because of the limited storage of 128GB. So I use a lot of time to install and uninstall the games😁 First I was thinking to install the games on a SD-card but I am sure if I do so, the first comment will be: "those not the real fps because its limited by the sd-card speed🤪" But after that I will try out batocera. It fits very well because I wanted to have a look into how to boot from usb or micro sd card anyway.
I don't own Call of Duty World at War but to my own suprise I do have the Halo: The Master Chief Collection in my Steam account (don't remember purchasing it) so yes. Not in the next video, because I still cutting the games I filmed before but after that I will try Halo.
Well it's Windows 11😉😁 So far, starting games worked fine. And if the games run I did not encounter any problems I would say they are caused of the Loki Zero. But I had no longer gaming session yet. So there might be glitches.

Should have tried Street Fighter 4 or Street Fighter X Tekken! :D

Japanese Thor 😂

Awful device
There are clearly better devices on the market. You're right.
