Its part of the police's job description who stand guard at 10 downing street its their job to knock or radio in when the cheif mouser is waiting by the door to get in and then someone else will open the door after the police knock to let larry in this is a 24hr thing any time day or night larry gets the same treatment as always
Larry is still there, on his sixth Prime Minister. The British are very fond of him. I believe No 10 Downing Street is actually three houses joined together, No 10 Downing Street and Nos 2 and 3 Horse Guards. I think all three houses date back to the eighteenth century, and they are in central London, near parks, so of course they tend to have a rodent problem!
_Larry_ (Chief Mouser - _Independent_ 🐈 but 'Left_leaning') has been in residence during the following Prime Ministers: David Cameron (Tory) Theresa May (Tory) Boris Johnson (Tory) Liz Truss (Tory) ... And now: (since 4th July '24) Sir Keir Starmer (Labour).🐈❤
Im not sure if you got he was joking around the whole time classic, speaking kinda seriously about a silly topic, like when hes critiquing the work quality of the cat lol.
There''s always rats scurrying around Downing street they're called MPs and Government Ministers.
Ah! Good old Larry, a real live believable Cat, not a fictitious Dragon.
Larry’s a legend🙌🏼😁
LARRY FOR PM😸
It is not only the Chief Mouser who can be caught napping at his job. Watch any protracted debate in the House of Commons and the MP's are at it.

Downing street was built in 1680. Larry doesn't actually catch mice its a tearm of endearment, he's a pet.
There is no rat problem bless your heart.
Hilarious!
There's still a cat living at 20 downing street
Who else lives there with that cat?
@@Raven44453 oops definitely well spotted

Currently, and for some years past, the only intelligent life form in Downing Street.
