Planting New Plants in My Prairie Using a Power Planter + Trimming Rosemary + Staking a Tree

- While I don't plant a lot of new plants in the middle of summer, this summer has had some times of cooler weather with plentiful rain. I've been babying a few straggler plants by my back door, and it was high time to get them in the ground. To make things easier, I used my Power Planter for speedy holes with no effort. It made everything a breeze! Plus, I needed to trim and shape my rosemary and stake a new tree. All in a day's work in the garden! Enjoy!

What a life. Excellent cook, beautiful home, stunning garden/farmland. Wow. Great place to live. Sigh. Lovely home.
"I live on a farm and this is just rosemary"...you make me laugh! Love, love, love your garden with all it's beautiful antique garden pieces! Can't wait to see how your new plants in the prairie work with the grass. Thank you Kaleb!
Meanwhile in the city, I am constantly monitoring my herbs to make sure they thrive. Lol. I just want them to grow. LoL.
Good Morning Kaleb!! You have a beautiful yard!! Your yard is big and I love it. I learn alot from you!! Thank you so much!!👍🤗
As a landscape designer I love watching you garden 🪴
I found you outdoors. You still amaze me. Thanks for showing us the opportunity to design, imagine, and make life more beautiful. 😉
Your lawn is beautiful. Love watching you work outside and also love watching you cook
Kaleb, here in Eastern Nebraska we have had some beautiful life-giving rain in the month of July, and as you mentioned it has made a huge difference and things are looking greener this year. Your gardens and lawn look fantastic. I purchased a couple of Power Planter augers with heavy-duty tips last year, and a few more this year, and they have made my clay soil so much easier to work in, I love them. Blessings to you and your loved ones. ~Margie🤗
Hey there. Thanks for all the wonderful information on, well everything. Just a shout out to you today as I searched an eggplant parm receipe and yours came up from about one year ago. AND OMG...just delicious. I made this for a friend that in stuck in with a broken leg and eggplant is her favorite dish and she LOVED this. Thanks again. Hugs from MAINE.
Wow Kaleb - talk about open space 😳. Looks like Kansas from the Wizard of Oz ! Without the tornado I hope 🤞🏻
You are such an inspiration. Your cooking, gardening and all are great, but just listening to you with your positive way can lighten my mood and attitude in ways that i enjoy so much! ❤
Love ALL of your videos!!
I would love to see the plants you put in at your aunt's place.....❤
Love watching all your videos
I love how you incorporate eco-friendly practices into your gardening routine. Keep being a responsible gardener!
Your environment and gardens are gorgeous 🌺
Love your videos. So interesting and down to earth with wholesome family videos. Thank you
I love my PowerPlanter auger - game changer for me. Works great in our hard, red clay Georgia soil. I use mine mostly for planting bulbs (lots o' bulbs) but it works great for everything else. I did, however, get a handle for my drill - keeps it from wrenching my wrist when it finds those unexpected roots & rocks.
You inspire me all the time Kaleb! Love seeing how everything looks and is coming along. Just beautiful..❤
I really enjoy watching you and have learned a lot. Keep up the great videos. I can't wait to see your upstairs remodel finished.
Lots of great ideas.
Thanks.
Good show..
Enjoy your videos ❤
Love your videos kaleb you are a joy to watch especially around Christmas time I love watching you put your trees up and all the Xmas recipes thankyou kaleb 🥰❤️
Loved watching the rosemary trim. It is helpful for future topiary prunes
Love the chair beside the rosemary topiary. Years ago, I saw two similar chairs at a lovely antique store in Kalona, Iowa. (Sisters Garden). However, there wasn’t enough room in the jeep to bring them along home….I still dream of those chairs. Your gardens are fabulous ❤.
Your soil looks beautiful - dark and rich. Quite a change from what I have.
Your tips are so helpful! 🌸❤️🇨🇦
The most beautiful landscape, and what did we do before the auger was invented? Just great! 🌞
This video was helpful. I need to stake 2 tall shrubs.
Please warn folks they can break their wrist if the hit a root or rock!! That auger is great but use with caution.
Do you grow and cook with edible flowers. Would love to see what you have if you do.
Don't those plants get lost in that tall grass.
I was wondering the same. That grass seems very tall.
Wondering the same.
I think he’s building a prairie ecosystem so there would be various plants in the grass.
All depends -- its a garden for exploring.
❤
Hi, i didnt know rosemary would grow like that, have to put mine in a bigger pot, love the topiary style
Im having trouble with my russian sage, am i watering it too much doesnt look very purple now
Would the auger work if you have rocky soil? What happens if you hit a rock, does it kick back or damage the auger?
What kind of seed is in your praire, I know you mentioned it before, I think you said some sort of oats?
🥰✅
"Power planter" Awesome, what next
Paint your stakes black you won't see the them..
Slightly hazy what are you talking about you can’t even see the feild behind you
BTW, your shorts are too short. I know they are popular, but look at some of your shots.
