Kaleb, your jade plants are gorgeous! Jade are one of my favorite plants, they're so pretty. I'm like you, if something breaks off, plant it, most likely it will grow. Be a crazy plant person, it's one of the best kinds of crazy 😂
Thank you, Kaleb! I am planting garlic for the first time this year in zone 5b Illinois (hi neighbor!) This has been very helpful. You are one of my favorite garden mentors.
I can’t stop staring at the background! It’s gorgeous with the difference colors of grass and in the field. And, the time of day you filmed, was perfect.
Kaleb, 4 years ago, I planted garlic for the first time, and you are so right about it becoming addictive! Now, I need to check at a couple different local (within 30 miles from me) garden centers to see if I can find a new variety that I want to try. I hope you and your loved ones have a wonderful week. ~Margie🤗🦋💐
I'll be planting my garlic in early October, using what I harvested this year and some that I purchased. It's so satisfying to see it emerge in the spring and grow into mature plants. And harvesting garlic scapes adds to the wonder of planting garlic!
Because of my area, I won't be planting garlic until late October/early November (I live in Vegas). While I have grown a bulb or two in the past, this will be my first attempt at trying to get more than just a few. I have a very small area and have some flowering plants for bees and hummingbirds, four dwarf citrus trees, lots of herbs, and finally I'll be trying garlic. This is really helpful and I now know what type of nutrients I'll need to get when I'm ready to plant.
Very positive vibes despite being annoyed by mother nature! Loved your garlic planting education too! 🌱🥰It seems so simple and straight forward so that's inspiring for a beginners too! Thank you!💝
Good timing. I just started thinking about planting the garlic the other day and decided to search for a farm stand to buy some to plant. The plans were altered for me so now tomorrow the search is on. Thanks for the remider.
Ahhhhh…. I use my Gator too as a potting bench!!! I was going to get an actual potting bench but then thought why??!! The gator is so versatile & mobile 😊
In Idaho we have to buy certified garlic. To make sure they dont have any bad bugs. That would devistate the potato crops. Love your information. Your jade plants are gorgeous. Mine died 😢
My 2 raised beds are 10' long, 4' wide and 4 & 1/2' tall so I do not really need to bend over. I sit on the tall side boards and tend it that way. Bad spine & knees 😢. However, not wanting to use cured lumber (could not afford any better than pine wood 😟) so no chemicals would leach into the soil and plants. But...now 3 years later the boards have rotted 😭. I can not afford to rebuild. So sadly frustrating. Brook
I finally managed to order garlic that I wanted to try for years before it sold out. Hoping next year to plant from this year's crop. Why did you grow so much garlic? Because it is so yummy and it goes in everything doesn't it?❤
Khu vườn rộng khung cảnh kiểng quá đẹp cảm ơn bạn đã chia sẻ video rất tuyệt vời chúc bạn nhiều sức khỏe nhiều niềm vui hạnh phúc bình an trong cuộc sống ♥️♥️♥️♥️
Love it! I just planted garlic for the first time. I chose a Chesnok Red (hard neck) and a California soft neck. Curious to compare them. I’m zone 6B so not sure about the soft. (But I so want to try garlic braiding 😂). Thanks for another great video!
Love it! Planning to get my garlic in the ground in October (Zone 7b). I would love a video on your Asparagus patch. I planted a full bed of it this year. It’s growing great, but no harvest yet. I’ve read it’s best to wait unti the 3rd year. I really need to learn more!
This happened to me a couple of times this summer. Wind and storms whipped my plants all over the place. But their all repotted and thriving since I cleaned up. I hear ya…it’s sad. Pots are expensive today too
This was perfect timing. I ordered my garlic months ago, and it just arrived. I have a question... Can I plant garlic in the same bed I usually plant my onions?
Thank you for showing us all about garlic! I’ve always wanted to grow it, but not sure if I have the space. Wonder if I could try in a container? Also, I’m laughing at myself because I read some place that it took 7 years to grow garlic! I obviously didn’t research it-that wouldn’t make sense. Thanks! …..just seeing & hearing what you’re saying about the growing in a container!
Thinking about getting new garden beds in the spring but curious if I plant garlic now can it be transplanted into a new bed next year or will it go into shock?
Ok I’m in Quebec, zone 4b, and live in a 3rd floor apartment. You say we can grow these in containers. In my case, really? If so, what size container do you suggest. i was maybe thinking one of those bag containers that I would install near the house maybe, not out in the wind. Suggestions please
Does anyone have a good recommendation on potting soil for indoor plants? I wanted to purchase Espoma but a number of reviews mentioned that theirs was infested with fungus gnats. I had a similar issue with Miracle Grow. It took me two years to finally get rid of the gnats and I am deathly 😬 afraid of starting the cycle over again.
My son bought me a bag of garlic. Which I never buy. So might as well plant them up and see what happens. If they grow great if not they were going in the trash anyways. Zone 6a.
Yeah! I wanted to plant garlic this fall. I loved your suggestion getting garlic from the farmers market. The people were so helpful. Here’s to a peaceful Fall. Cheers!

"potting and healing process" hahahaha that cracked me up. Love it.
I love, love seeing Kip. Could you hold him up so we can see him better? Thanks for another informative video.
Love your attitude, Kaleb. It's always lovely spending time in your garden with you. Why not become a crazy plant person indeed.
Thank you Kaleb for all of your hard work. I appreciate your efforts to educate and inspire others.🌸🙏🌸

I just love you, you make some of the funniest comments. That’s happened to me many times in Colorado with our wind.
Crazy plant person! Well yes we are! Love it!
I’m so sorry to hear that…at least you can replant them. And I can enjoy you doing them ❤❤❤
Kaleb, I love watching your videos. You have the best personality, with an ever so slight side of sassiness that is fun! 😋
Thanks for all the lessons!

That 1st picture of you was right out of Hieronymus Bosch
There is so many ways to preserve garlic as well ❤ cut and freeze garlic pucks is my favorite way!
Thank you for sharing in detail how to plant the garlic
Kaleb , I was holding my breath when you added the chicken and bulb tone , aren’t you worried about breathing the stuff in ? Great garlic growing tips
So you don't want it to grow too much, but you're stimulating the roots. Makes perfect sense.
Would you plant soft neck garlic in the fall also? Or just hard neck?
Ahhhhh…. I use my Gator too as a potting bench!!! I was going to get an actual potting bench but then thought why??!! The gator is so versatile & mobile 😊
Fellow zone 5b! Got to got my garlic in soon.

I put a sponge in the bottom of my pots.

Your sky is always so beautiful! have you ever grown something on top of the garlic for like a short fall crop? Maybe lettuce?
This was perfect timing. I ordered my garlic months ago, and it just arrived. I have a question... Can I plant garlic in the same bed I usually plant my onions?

Sorry about your jade plants-you took it very well. I’m going to try garlic-I don’t plant vegetables but the garlic looks like even I can plant it!😂
Wow, didn’t realize his easy it was to plant garlic.
So, does the garlic need to be covered over winter and when do you harvest it?
Do you ever plant garlic in containers?
Thinking about getting new garden beds in the spring but curious if I plant garlic now can it be transplanted into a new bed next year or will it go into shock?
Do you plant any elephant garlic? I’m going to this October, to freeze dry and turn into garlic powder next year.

One more oops😅 I’m in Oklahoma what’s the latest if I have to order garlic
So I can still plant garlic and can I plant them in big buckets I have buried

I don’t plant my garlic until the end of October
