As a college student in Sioux Falls, coming from the mid-atlantic, I learned to love the beauty of the prairie and farmland. My roommate lived on a farm in Inwood, Iowa, and I spent lots of time at her home. Her parents loved that a girl from NJ wanted to learn to drive a tractor and go out to feed the cattle! I also married an Iowa boy! The setting sun was one of my favorite times to be out on the farm. Truly beautiful.
Gosh Kaleb! You are the kinda personality that makes my heart smile! You really seen too be the sweetest guy. You produce top notch quality content. I share you with everyone i truly care about! It's like you are an informative hug i send my friends and family. You are like a big bundle of joy and love!! I hope you know what joy you bring to people . Iowa is very lucky to have you as a representative and ambassador 😆!!
You are such a joy kaleb you melt my heart the way you care for everything including kip you deserve everything your heart desires thankyou for sharing your journey much love and appreciation ❤️😊👍🏻
Kelab, have you ever had your big OLD trees looked at by a tree expert? The electric company came through and checked all our trees and three out of 5 were rotten inside. The trees were over 100 feet tall and over 120 years old, but still standing and looking good. They were right in front of the house, so they had to go. Do not want them to fall on house. Just thought I would share. Love and prayers. ❤❤😊
Well said... "Thank your garden for the year. " and "Enjoy life a little bit more." ❤ Great wrap-up video! I enjoyed the ride out in the field to drop off the pumpkins. There is such a peacefulness to the dormant land. Thanks for sharing the views out there!
Love this video. I loooove leaf mulch and use it every year. It’s gold for the garden and it’s free!!! There’s different thoughts on whether you should clean the garden in fall or spring and I’m in your camp. I leave it. I feel like it protects the soil and gives us some winter interest. We all need to remember to live in the moment and thank our gardens for giving us such joy. Thanks for sharing your thoughts.
I'm with you on the leaves in the garden(veggies or flowers)! So beneficial with nutrients! Everything looks great on the entire property, thank you for the update! 😊❤
I love the part of your video where you are standing and the porch is off to the left of the video. So pretty and made me feel comforted, just lookin at it. Beautiful farmhouse country porch on a sunny Autumn day. (at 16:40 in the video)
Your videos always leave me with a happy feeling! The wrap up tour was great-not only to see your process but to view your beautiful landscape. So good to see Kip out and running and enjoying himself.
I have a 50 year-old Silver Maple in my front yard. My veggie garden is the beneficiary of a lot of those leaves, as are my herbaceous beds. I'll clean out the herbaceous beds come spring, and what I take off will also go into the veggie garden. I don't think it at all odd to thank the garden. It thanks me with 6' tall tomatoes in a good season. Love that you also feed the wildlife. Still lots of work to do this fall, but one job at a time - just wish the daylength were longer... Happy Fall to Winter from IL, 5b too.
Great wrap up. So nice to see all the land around at this quiet time. I use my pumpkins as bowls for bird seed, although we have had a terrific crop of rodents and rabbits in out area. Sigh. Keep up you wonderful series.
Thank you for telling us that it is okay that our garlic is up. I have researched and asked Chat AI and have not been able to find the answer. I'm a new subscriber catching up on videos and boom, Wyse Guide is just dropping knowledge!
Thank you for taking us alone on the fall round up. For the first time I loaded up my raised beds with leaf litter BUT, I’m terrified by doing so I’m harboring bad bugs. I’m in California zone 9b.
Oh Caleb you make me smile...found your youtube videos by accident and have been watching since 2020. Have a wonderful Thanksgiving holiday and Happy Fall!
Thanks so much for sharing what you do at the end of the season. Our fall here in South Carolina has been beautiful in its way. We have subtle changes but beautiful. The sun is warm and the breezes are cool. It's my favorite time of year.

Loved the view out where the pumpkins got dumped and LOVE the sound of the wind! I do so enjoy your walkabouts in the garden and how real you keep it!
As a 78 year old grandmother it warms my heart to see you living on your grandparents farm and taking such good care of it.

It’s okay, Mom. I’ve damaged bags, too. 😂 ❤…and the tires…and the rack…and the blower fan…and the blades…
It seems like everyone is hurrying to decorate for Christmas… but I’m going to hang on to every last drop of fall 🍁 ❤
You are such a joy kaleb you melt my heart the way you care for everything including kip you deserve everything your heart desires thankyou for sharing your journey much love and appreciation ❤️😊👍🏻
Use an old sheet and line the mower bag when it has a hole to stop leaking leaves and use to pull out to empty
I will borrow your idea!
Yes, Iowa is beautiful. This looks like where I grew up. I miss the fields.
Sweet Kip, surveying all and protecting his farm. Love to see him enjoying his time on the land and with you! 😊❤

I think you could use a heavy duty large laundry bag to place inside of the damaged lawnmower bag to seal in the hole.
Beautiful. I like feeding the deer too. I set them on the farm wall surrounding my yard.
Thank you for sharing your beautiful garden and state. You are right that we need to enjoy every season and thank you for sharing yours🍂🍁🍂

I haven’t bagged a leaf in 10 years. I mulch by mowing and let nature do the rest…👍😄
I lived in 4 seasons weather, loved it so much, there were no guessing games❤

Can mulching with leaves ever hurt?

Could you give us a drone tour of your property/gardens? That would be great. Don't make us google earth you. ☺️
