On top of that, the K20s and B18s would have to be longitudinally mounted (which would be weird to manage in such a small engine bay), and a new transmission and rear end would need to be custom tailored for the car to run RWD. It's literally easier and cheaper to tune the car and keep it FWD.

That black EP3 was a monster. So was the EG6 with the yellow headlight decal. The yellow EF9 earlier on was all point and shoot business. Except for that black EP, you have a sense that those sporting double wishbones did a bit better in technical corners like these
The Civic at 6:16 really confused me, haven't seen one like that, then I look at the back an it's an EP Civic. I look at the front again and realise they've wrapped the headlights and front end to make it look more modern. Somehow it's pulled it off.

I happen to love both
They only do it in US. In Europe we respect a lot any N/A 4pot which takes 7-8-9k rpm brought to rallye, hillclimb, track, etc. 205 T16 is a legend, as well as Impreza WRC, Lancer Evo, Celica GT4, and all the 4cyl rallye legends. Same happens in Asia or Latin America. Ricers is a US concept

@@kaybevang536 totally agree mate, Japan loves it's older civics. I drive an EP3, had it 8 years now. UK loves hot hatches, like to think this version was built for the UK market given the popularity since the late 70s, we've had some really cool ones over the years.
Where's 6th gen VTI and EK? Own a 6th gen Civic and can confirm it goes around a corner with ease. I like driving it on some mountain passes with lots of serpentines. Weighs around a tonne so it's not an issue going fast through a corner with some good tyres.
It's amazing when you see a FWD car tuned properly just how fast they can corner
