- TDi North have done it again, this time with an N/A "Kanjo inspired" K20 screamer.
Mohammed has had a long love affair with his Civic Type R (EP3)
After buying the car outright at 18 and developing the car over the years its now just about perfect for his requirements. Inspired by the Japanese kanjo racers with their screaming vtec motors Mo asked Neil at TDi North to build him a screaming K20 just like he'd seen on UA-cam.
The motor is built to rev upto 11K rpm but they guys put a safety cap on the tune at 9K rpm and settled at just shy of 300hp

yeah, especially when that is the special thing about it. putting turbos on these is like swapping a rotary for a piston engine. that just kills the whole character.

Love NA K series engines. More fun in my rsx type S than in a Porsche Boxster lol. This is music to the ears. My sister grew up in drag racing v8 cars. Never ridden in a track tunes four cylinder machine. We made some passes an she had a smile so big she had her face hurt the next day. Love tight corners an traction with a high rpm running machine. Very cool

Glad you didn't go turbo, I am building one currently as a track toy, hoping to get around 310-315hp. Are you running a 3 inch exhaust? baffled sump and cooler?
