I really like the storytelling you were able to do with this build, I think getting the settlers in first was helpful for that. I agree that follow up videos of other settlements would be fun. I also appreciate that you try to work within the build limit (going a tiny bit over was understandable). As someone who works in a creative field, putting limits or boundaries on a project really allows you to focus on the things you can control and use them in a smart way, and I think you did that here.
That barn items repair of the new arrival area was just so clever. Such great inspiration from your videos. I also bought New Vegas during the sale. Maybe I will do my own play-along with you if you make videos of it. :)
I'm not sure if you know this handy tip but when you're decorating and you drop your items on the floor, if you go into build mode and pick up an item it automatically straightens it up! I always found it a big help 😊❤ love watching your videos.
I recently started a new playthrough of FO4 and rediscovered the runaway's holotype in the ranger cabin; something like this safehouse would actually be so beneficial for the people of the wasteland and it actually makes me a little sad something like this doesn't exist. But, anyway, another wonderful build!
This was lovely. I never managed to make Taffington look so much like a settlement as you have. New Vegas is a lot of fun. Much more RP-able, because your various skills' levels are checked in dialogue. A character can only be skilled in only so many ways, so sometimes you get locked out of completing quests in a peaceful or diplomatic fashion. It's also replayable several times, because like FO4, there are several different factions to choose to support. For me it feels dated nowadays, but at the time I put around 1000 hours into it, so it's pretty good.
I cracked up at the end jump after Preston wouldn’t move 😂 Lovely job as usual!!! This one especially is amazing and I love the backstory of it all. Superb roofing work 😍
I love your videos!! So cool seeing someone else’s Taffington build - mine is my Sole Survivor’s home! She lives there with Piper and Shaun and they’ve got a farm, a Brahmin and I turned the boathouse into a workshop and storage place. Also in my head Nat lives with them too and they’ve got chickens in the yard but I can’t do that without mods so I just pretend.

Have you tried sim settlements 2? It’s a great mod and the settlement building is amazing. You can even choose to not do the main quest and unlock all the different options for building right from the beginning. Thought it would be right up your alley. I downloaded it just because the settlement building is so much more detailed and decorated in the way I wish it was in vanilla fallout. Anyway love this build! Keep up the good work.
