Hearing those children playing happily had to be awesome, though tough at the same time for you Joseph, for obvious reasons. As per usual, your underwater artistry has not disappointed Joseph. We drink ro water as well,with added trace minerals.did you know there is a portable unit that changes any water to RO drnking water now?its a small device about the size of your batteries.great for vanlifers ,hikers and minialists or bushcrafters. You wouldnt need to go to a store for water,you could get it from a lake you scuba in
Hey Joseph, hope all is well :) Just giving you my two cents. Make sure your vehicle alternator can handle it they can actually put out closer to 54-56A.
Thanks guys, I appreciate that concern.. I think it should be ok. I've ran a 50 and 60a charger before with out any issues. Also the alternator in my van is a hefty 170a as compared to the 140 that is usually installed. I've also pulled out the rear HVAC service, rear sound system, passenger power seat, and most of the interior lighting so it's pretty bare bones in there compared to what it was. But even so I'll keep watch on everything and see how it goes. I didn't know it can climb about 50, I'll take a look at the data history once it's run for a while.

I believe that I will start to source equipment for future adventures in our deep northern Sask lakes. I would like to keep my little freezer full of fillets and feed myself all season long with my bounty! I still love rod fishing though too. Much love my friend.
Where you parked at Saxe Point is the only place where I've gotten "the knock" in my 4-5 years living in my van in U.S and Canada. It was a good lesson for me to trust my instincts because I had pulled up at night not knowing it was "the" spot, but I still had a sense it wasn't kosher. A local I had met from Victoria recommended it and said it was cool to spend the night and the view was stunning so I didn't think much of it. Anyways a friendly cop let me know I could stay that night but don't return. That was 2019 much different times. Beautiful spot! Hope to be back one day (not at night)
