Eight years ago, I decided to build my dream life, to work for myself, live in a tiny home and spend more time doing things I enjoy with those I love.
Downsizing into a recycled caravan Tiny House reduced my financial obligations and accelerated my career as a family & wedding portrait photographer.
I’ve lived this lifestyle for the past 5 years on the east coast of Australia, living alone on private land with my two dogs Edge & Luna.
This episode is part of a series where I share my lifestyle and answers the most common questions I receive.

I had crimsafe too, I loved it but I’ve just installed much needed double glazing. I’m also thinking of getting cameras! ❤

In my caravan (travel trailer) I also have Cam's and Smith and Wesson and it's brother Glock
Great investment! I bought an expensive lock on front door of condo 18 years ago, it has given me peace of mind. Nothing is foolproof but women, need to be creative with their safety.

Hi Amie, great to see you back :) I love the crimsafe security screens and doors fitted to you caravan. Just wondering did you remove the original windows completely to fit the screens? I have a 1969 viscount and would love to do the same to the windows and replace the original flimsy door too.
Hey Sharon, When I bought the Viscount the previous owners had already replaced the original windows. So the black square shaped windows you see aren't original, and I'm not entirely sure what their brand is because theres no sticker or label to be found. The reason I was able to get crimsafe screen is because the windows are square not round. You can get crimsafe on rounded windows but it's much more expensive the company explained to me when I said I would share this information online. My current door was purchased second hand from a Caravan Repair store. All the best with your Reno! x
