- www.caravan-win... This is a recent installation of External vinyl cladding fitted to a static caravan in Shrewsbury.
All static caravans regardless of the year make and model can be fitted with new external vinyl cladding , the vinyl cladding that we install comes with a 50 year guarantee .
As you can see for the video before we fit the external cladding to the caravan we make a studwork frame and insulate between the static caravan and the new vinyl cladding , normally with 25 insulation boards such as kingspan.
After installing the new cladding your static caravan will look great and be much Warmer in the winter .

Got to be honest, this has to be one of the most brilliant things I've seen in quite a while.
Very clever, and looks superb.
What additional weight does this add to the very flimsy axle? Issues moving? The vents should only be covered if a mechanical ventilation system is replacing them or condensation build up would be horrific.? Roof and floor treatments as most heat is lost in these areas?

Where do you get these Vinyl Cladding in UK? Cannot see any shops selling them
Did you put the new windows in after the cladding or before.
Would be a far superior job if 50mm Kingspan insulation was fixed all over before the pvc cladding
Looks great and I bet it is much more comfortable for living in. Only negative comment is that the vents were covered over. Doesn't this cause issues later?
@@westcoastcaravanwindows answers everything. Looks great and is better than continually scrapping older models. I bet this could be applied to campervan conversions internally too with a bit of tweaking

It is very expensive as it cost me £6,500 but it is well worth it. It does also depend on the size of your caravan and what type of cladding you want.
