Groundbreaking if it works and it’s used to help people. But someone will monopolize, monetize and misuse it because that’s what humans always seem to do.
My husband just passed away from a very long and debilitating disease called spinal muscular atrophy. It was horrible for him and brutal to watch his gifts be taken from him little by little. He had been an accomplished pianist and artist. I welcome any advancement like this for a better life for someone else out there.
It has tremendous possibilities.

I'm preparing to become a neurosurgeon(outside NA). I would like to participate in neuroscience experiments in neuralink or similar organization. Knowing that most of these researches are done in US, would it be necessary for me to obtain a US medical degree? Oneday, I want to start a business in this field.
Seems that this would be tremendously helpful for someone with paralysis.
Elon Musk also mentioned a future goal of enabling communication between individuals using Neuralink without the need for verbal expression, envisioning a form of telepathic communication.

The original intent for the technology may be good, but seldom do technologies not end up being used against humanity for nefarious purposes. This one could go very, VERY bad. As a Christian, I have to ask. What would Jesus say about Neuralink? Not sure what the Holy Spirit is saying to y’all, but I’m getting a big red stoplight.

I honestly don't see Elon using it for real benefits. My son, who is in his 5th year living as a paraplegic, says that he would not trust it!
I'd take a bet and say you've never had to watch any of your loved ones suffer unimaginable pain and agony.. from permanent disabilities.. terminal conditions/ illness.. this technology and others like it would be game changing for billions of people who had their normal lives taken away from them !! You must be very young or don't have any friends or family that you care for..
