Never realized he picked a whole line of 1st rounders recently kinda smart
Missing was the no mention of other recent first rounders like Stenberg, the one acquired by trade in Dean and an older first rounder in Neighbours.
He's the best GM around.

I do think Krug needs to go and in order for a stanley cup contender to take him (which is what Krug would settle for with his no trade clause), he's going to probably have to give up a draft pick and possibly pay part of his salary. I don't know why a contender would want him as he's slow, small, and maybe the only thing going for him is he's a good passer. I have no clue why Armstrong picked him up in the first place. A big part of the reason the Blues won in '19 was they had a big defense. They drafted some tall defenseman in this draft but those players are a few years out before having an impact.
Thats an odd way of saying Krug, and fixing our shit defense..
Hayes was a stupid decision. It cost them a 2nd round pick to get out of it. Bad decision Doug. Bad decision twice.

Parayko has gotten a lot better over the last 2 years he is continuing to evolve. Krug does need to go though he is a great play maker but his size just isn't fit for our organization considering our division is pretty big with the Wild and the Avs and Jets got a pretty big team too. We gotta shore up our defense. If we do keep Krug, we need to get at least one big name D Man but enough to resign Buch.

Army is proving why he should move from GM Job. Hayes move was terrible. Even in firts place acquire HIM and pay for it. We are pretenders no contender team. Keeping Buch Will Be mistake, we dont have windows open. Get pick(s) and prospects(s) return. Build future.
You sir are proving why you're a key board warrior in your mom's basement. So what if Hayes was a bad deal. You can't win every trade. He corrected it swiftly with someone 8 years younger, way faster, cheaper and better all around player.

Why there cant be any criticism for Army?
Are you too much of Army of lover that you cant see bigger picture. We will have around 3-5 years before team can turn around this sinking boat If not its re-build time for Blues.
They didn’t really have a choice.
They traded 3 centers at a deadline. They had to have somebody play center. A small portion of the incoming assets had to be used to do this.
There was a limited pool of players available. Kevin Hayes was a fine choice. The second could have been used to get somebody else. It’s all the same in the end.
