Nice technical 'home' video - thanks. Not too complicated but interesting all the same, funnily enough more interesting when you get 'off topic'!

Love your videos guys, please keep making them 👌 as someone mentioned before - going off topic is even more interesting 😁

@@FlyinMiataVideo he could do a podcast on rambling about cars. I would subscribe to that.

great video, could you cover brake bias and how it has changed through the years in the miata

We talked about that a bit in a previous video, and there's a tech page on the Flyin' Miata website that shows the different proportioning valves used up to the point where the car went to electronic brake distribution. Does that help?

Hey Keith! Love the videos. Can you explain the thing you said about NDs holding the throttle wide open to heat up the catalytic converter? I have a hard time wrapping my head around how/why that's needed. How are they preventing the engine from reving out?!?!

Cam and ignition timing. It's magic, designed to get as much hot exhaust down the cat as possible. If you've ever started an ND from cold, you've heard it happening. It's that weird blare they make for about 30 seconds.

Hint: Have 2005 MSM. Engine bay wiring is becoming brittle, along with small connectors. Any thoughts or suggestions on these type of issues? P.S. vacuum hoses following suit.

Heat shielding. That's about all you can do. A stock MSM shouldn't have too much trouble here, but if you've made changes underhood and exposed wiring to extra heat it's a problem.

Vehicles running anti lag don't have vacuum, the brake booster doesn't work and you don't have engine braking because of that.
