- First off sorry for the long delay be between videos, sometimes life happens, things like illnesses and family members passing away.
In this video we look back on our hunt a for new to us motorhome, after looking at several brands and even new Airstreams, 5th Wheels and other motorhome brands we decided to go hunting for a Beaver Motorhome. We like their build quality and reputation.
The 1995 Beaver Marquis we purchased checked many of the boxes on our wish list, a Beaver, priced right for age and condition, diesel, pre DEF, mechanically sound. Some items that it didn't fill, paint color, paint faded, no sides, age, and a little rougher than others we had looked at.
More videos coming, the next coupe of videos will be mainly pictures due to losing a lot of the footage or we simply didn't film the process. Watch for out furry family members to make an appearance.
love checking out a nice beaver
Don't we all.
Laughed like Butt-Head from Beavis and Butthead.
Gotta love a nice Beaver!! They are beautiful rigs
So true!
How I long for someone to approach my wife and I and say, “Nice Beaver!”
If you keep your Beaver in good condition and keep it out there, sooner or later someone will comment on your nice Beaver. :-)
Those are 2 beautifully unique long windows , that the 2001 Safari also has , for enjoying the scenery 😀
Yes indeed!
I like it all especially the fact there are no slides! 👍Being a recent 40 year retired truck owner operator I’d check bushings and brack chambers and all that under carriage. Wouldn’t hurt especially your gonna road trip. I’m sure others have mentioned it. I’ve got a 2021 34 foot gulfstream class C and love it. Wish I had what you’ve got it’s just awesome.
Thank you for your comment and for sharing your valuable insights with us, especially as a retired truck owner-operator. It's great to hear that you enjoyed our video, and we appreciate your advice on checking the bushings and brake chambers of the undercarriage, as well as other maintenance tips for road trips. We will definitely keep that in mind for future trips. Would love to take it to the Bus Grease Monkey for a second opinion inspection.
It's also fantastic to hear that you are enjoying your own 34 foot Gulfstream Class C, and we agree that RVing is an amazing way to travel and see the country. We are thrilled that you think our setup is awesome, and we hope to continue creating content that you and others will enjoy. Thank you for your comment!
We just purchased a 1995 Beaver Marque Ruby. Looks like yours on the outside. Your videos have been great! Which engine do you have in yours?
Congratulation on your new Beaver!!! Our has the Cummins 300, we love it. It's an older coach but runs great! If you haven't done so go subscribe to the Beaver Motorhome group on Facebook, tons info and help can be found there.
Lookin good..
I'll be in your shoes this year..a 42+' beaver, newell, newmar will be our home
Congratulations! Older motorhomes can be a lot of work but the rewards make it worth it.
What did you pay for it and what year was it and what model? Thank you.
It is a 1995 and we got a pretty good deal on it.
Did the 90s patriots have powder coated frames? I’ve seen powder coated frames on the early 2000s patriots
Don't believe ours is powder coated. Ours is built on a Gillig bus chassis.

What did you pay for your Beaver and How much do you think Repairs and Replacement will cost you in total?
They took our offer of $15k, will probably end up spending $10K - $12K when it's all said and done. Tires where around $3.8K of that total and two new AC Heat Pumps where another $3.5K... adds up quickly.
@@tgif3657 Thanks!…Love seeing it Driven again.. Darn..$3800 for Tires!… Keep that Engine Serviced and it’ll travel a long way!.. Safe Travels!
Wow..a steal at that price...always inspect under carriage ..bags,bushings,steering,body support and suspension for wear, rrot
