Really enjoy your videos, it helped me get over range anxiety seeing how you guys drove all over the place on your roadtrip videos. I just got my 2023 ID.4 3 weeks ago and love it. We've had wildfires here in 2 of the last 3 years so we sometimes need to change air filters after a fire. Nice to see how easy it is. Enjoy your next EV !!!
Hi.. somehow you escaped my attention. That was an informative video. Probably save me 150 euros. I will probably buy the parts from VW but they charge premium. I wonder where you can purchase those cheaper?
How many miles have you put on your car ? I just hit 103,000 miles on mine in 19 months , bought mine on 2/28/22 ,great car! Mine is a Black 2021 Pro S Gradient
Word to the wise! Always put a towel down on your windshield (where wiper arm will come down) when changing wipers. One accidental snap will crack a windshield. I know this from experience.
I love all your videos, i am really thinking about getting this car. I'm shocked to hear you are getting rid of it, why is that? I watched all your videos Thank you
0:17 The service position is even easier, using the button on the steering column Ignition on Ignition off, then press the windscreen wiper lever down and hold. This moves the wipers to the service position.
@@EVMotoring I'd love to collab with you guys when I take delivery of my Ariya e-40rce (lol) edition (hopefully) at the end of this year. I'm in the north suburbs. Big fan of what you guys have done so far and have really inspired me to not only take the EV leap but to use it to road trip in very real ways!
The fact that you have to wait about one minute for the car to boot up its computers is unacceptable. I can get my laptop up and running in less than ten seconds when turning it on. When I get in the car, I want it to be up and running almost instantaneous because that's how the real world works. No time for bs.
One workaround that I have found is to press unlock on the key fob while approaching the car. This seems to start the process before entering so the car has a head start. Still unacceptable tho
You guys claim to be UA-camrs and you should be embarrassed. Spend the $40-60 bucks to replace the air filter and wipers. I’ll remind myself to not to buy a car from you. Thumbs down.

Curious of your current miles and how is the battery doing?
Gosh... that's incredible! I've done 80000 in 3 years but you smashed it. It's a great car. As a matter of interest, have you still got it?

My plan is to own each car for 1 year to keep new content and comparisons coming. The ID.4 is definitely going to be hard to beat!
I consider it, built to last

Thanks for the tip!
I am running v3.2... the bootup seems instantaneous. Sonetimes i notice the infotainment is lagging but that was after an update
My ID.4 has 13000 miles. No road trips. Can and should the staggered tires be swapped from side to side?
According to my dealer, no. Mine lasted about 23,000 miles.
@@EVMotoring Thanks.
tires of different widths, only replacement with new ones
where did you buy the air filter and wipers ? link please

THANKS !!
How did your battery hold up for 32,000 miles of driving? I have 8,000 miles on my id4 still like new.
I just posted some degradation videos a couple weeks ago
Oh wow. Will miss the ID4. Are you getting another EV? How is your battery degradation and what were some key points to your ownership experience?
I just did some battery degradation videos a couple weeks ago and definitely buying another EV. Once you drive one, it’s hard to drive anything else
@@EVMotoring less maintenance and no gas is what sold me.
What about rear window wiper ?
Nissan Ariya next 👌
Why are you selling the id4
It’s just time for the next EV to review
@@EVMotoring what u guys getting? Ev 6? Or u guys were the lucky ones to get the fisker one?
@@saul71101 we are still shopping and deciding

Still haven’t decided yet!

Maybe the buyer sees this video..🤣🤣
I'm guessing ionic 5 is next :)
It’s definitely on the short list!
ماهو الفلتر الذي يتوافق مع id4
That ridiculously slow bootup/startup would drive me crazy. Staggered tires with only 23K miles before replacement? Yikes!
The tire issue is common among EV’s but the screen boot up should definitely be better.
Just to put some information out there... vw charge 75€ an hour labour charge and mercedes is even more. Heaven knows how much Porche charge.
Hope it will be a VW

Agreed on the startup time being unacceptable. I can hop in my Jeep Wrangler 4xe and be 'booted up' in about 2-3 seconds.
Getting another EV?
Definitely! Once you own one, you can’t go back! Way too many positives especially when gas is this expensive
WHAT ABOUT WINDSHIELD WIPER FLUID!!?!?!??! LOL
lol nothing complicated or quirky about that
Selling the car to go back to a gas car 😂
I have a new EV. I had to use the gas car for 2 months while I was waiting for my car to arrive…
