For us, the hard parts are over. Now, all that is left is to install the final accessories that include the rollbar and headlights that we picked up from @SummitRacing.
My guy really just drilled a hole in the exterior of the bed of the truck, when literally everyone that runs CBs, mounts them on a toolbox or on the inside of the bed rail where it’s not so damaging.
I can’t see wanting a CB bad enough to bore holes in the bed of a truck in that kina shape. When I heard the drill bit hit the metal it felt like it was drilling through one of my own bones. Felt too real
😂😂😂...I guess you never heard of a MIG welder, sheet metal, Bondo putty, primer paint, and appropriate color painting, huh...Okay...No probs...I'll invent all of it for you...😂😂
@@ToyManFlyer1100 I know it can be fixed but it doesn’t always turn out as good as it was before somebody cut or drilled through something. I just wouldn’t be able to do it. No need to get all worked up
@@donaldliverance2597 ...So noted...But, how many of these vehicles ever get sold or marketed to the General public...Personally, I haven't heard of ANY...So, also most of us can't afford 'em if they did sell one them...And, the "caveat emptor" of all of this, all the hacking and jacking done BEHIND the cam, you prolly don't want it anyways... Basically a Porcelain Swan painted with Lead-based paint...
To everyone complaining about the antenna mount, you're looking at it thru 2020's eyes. That's where they mounted really long antennas back then. They then bent then over and connected at the front fender when not in use for clearance. Google Fall Guy Truck (which I thought this was gonna be a copy of when I first saw the clip). Ah, to be in your 40s...... :/
Coat it in brake fluid and send it down with oceangate. Its a pos shitvrolet it won't make no difference. Here on land it will rust out quickly, its in the make

The vast majority use a magnetic base.
I have a 1977 ford f-150 ranger and it’s got two shorter antennas mounted on the mirrors for the radio
If you want a CB antenna to work efficiently mounted behind the cab on the bed so there's ground plane all around.
You should mount it to the middle of a toolbox.

@@ToyManFlyer1100 original condition and repaired body work put it in two different value groups 👌

I’m 23 years old and doing a fall guy inspired truck. All these mods are exactly what made me think of the show
That's a Cobra LTD9 CB radio. I still have one of them lyin around that was my grandfathers. It still works too!
This is the coolest thing ever. Pro tip: Connect two mounting springs end to end, and an antenna
Might have found a better spot or way to mount that antenna lol killed that box for no reason
them day lighters still around

Blake love you guys
i am betting the swr on that radio is off the meter lol
You are supposed to use a magnetic base for the antenna. You derserve to be called names.
What size are those tires they look badass
Why he was holding those lights like that
Why not use a stock radio/cb made by GM ?
Do you guys got a link to that antenna mount
I would have left out the CB...
What's wrong with mounting antenna on role bar ? Butcher job on bed side 🥴
Dressed up the she should be
