Another good video Richard. I think it's great to produce videos as an angler relatively new to flyfishing. I'm sure other new anglers can follow your journey and learn a lot. This time of year, if you do want to target the wiser fish on naturals it generally pays to fish them at the slightly warmer time of day. Around 1pm onward. Gold head hares ear and pheasant tail nymphs score well. Thank you again for an honest, entertaining video 👍
Think you need a attractor fly on.....personally if I don’t see any fish topping out I wouldn’t bother with naturals.....buzzers and a blob always works for me
Do use blobs most times tbf but wanted to give straightlining and washing lines a go with the 'nasty' stuff 😂 blobs n worms will be back on the rods tomorrow!!👍👍
When I get to the water I don’t set up any flies and leaders, look to see what the fish are doing and what they want. I don’t think it’s good thinking to assume I’m going to catch only on naturals, fish for what they want at the time….keep up the videos there getting better lol 😂

Be careful where you put your rod while taking the hook out as I've seen meny people stand on the rod
