This was very informative especially regarding Coach Ty Lue and Jeff Van Gundy. IMO, there going to help Kris Dunn finally reach his potential as an All NBA defensive team player and great playmaker, along with helping him continue to shoot the trey ball more efficiently 🏹🔥
I have to say, I'm pumped to hear JVG is coach and his addition is undersold IMO. The reason he hadn't been coaching for years is he didn't want to move his kids out of the Houston area. He's still good enough to be head coach in the NBA. And if anyone listens to him talk, you know he still knows the game, he's still competitve as fuck and still is a hard worker. I'm a little shocked he was fine with being an assistant (as well as accepting jobs outside of Texas). But if that is the case, someone like him being willing to be assistant role. Especially with the role players this team has.
We are going to see a new culture shift with the Clippers this coming season. I think scrappy is the right word. Dont count out Bones. Bizzy looked good coming out of last years camp the whole Harden trade derailed him a bit. Another great interview. Trying to catch up on all of them.
thanks. i don't want to count out bones but given they brought in dunn and kpj and l Frank basically said they are looking to move he and PJ if the right deal comes, well, i wouldn't put a lot of stock into him being long with the clippers. but i'd love to be wrong.
It's gonna be one helluva training camp duel between Kris Dunn and Bones Hyland for the backup point guard spot and Norman Powell & KPJ for minutes at the shooting guard, nothing but great competitions OTW🔥
@ClippersTalk 💯% agree with you, Kris Dunn has the size advantage on Bones Hyland at 6'3 6'4 205lb with a 6'9 wingspan and Norman Powell is a proven Championship veteran compared to KPJ youth and streaky scoring abilities
@@melvinpowelljr.3368 i mean kris dunn is one of the better perimeter defenders in the league, bones can't even compare. KPJ hasn't proven anything yet in this league on a winning team and hasn't played basketball since april of 2023 so uh, yeah. i don't think it's gonna be much of a competition in training camp.

@@michaelharris6571 we all know he has talent. He also could be suspended to start the season. He's not taking norms job in training camp
