- In this video, I'm headed to the newly opened Cathédrale restaurant at the Aria in fabulous Las Vegas Nevada! Cathédrale is the newest restaurant from Tao Group on the Las Vegas strip. Cathédrale has its sister restaurant in the East Village of New York City and has made it's way to sin city. I'm happily looking forward to trying out the food!!

What would you order if you were eating at Cathédrale?
Couldn’t see the menu. Beautiful restaurant though
I usually only order stuff at high-end restaurants that are hard to find or make myself. Starter = the oysters look like the only thing good on the starter. Appetizers = King crab looks like the only decent appetizer. Entrees = Prime rib looks like the only decent thing here. Desserts = crepes is the only thing that catches my eye, 2 people minimum though. If by myself I would skip dessert. Personally, I wouldn't go here. Sounds too noisy. Sounds like fine dining at a sports bar during the playoffs.
I want the cocktail you got, the omelet, and the fettuccine and that dessert, lol. I also saw they have lamb chops, that is one of my favorites. Looks like a beautiful setting too. I love Aria.

Dear Shin, Hi - always love your videos. You do a wonderful job of describing the food, etc.. However, I would much prefer a reasonably priced meal - no more than 50 dollars tops for myself and husband total. Of course, we are elderly and live in a tiny town in the Midwest and could never afford the prices in Vegas today. We lived in Vegas years ago and at one time there was a pasta buffet at an off strip casino for 99 cents. This included pasta, sauce, bread, salad. I believe a drink was extra. Miss those days. Keep up the good work. Thanks for the video and all of the videos that show food and places we will never be able to afford. Be well and happy.
I plan on reviewing every restaurant on the Vegas strip eventually. I should have content for the next 8 years. We'll see every restaurant from the absolute cheapest to the grandest of the grand. We'll see it together!

Hi Shin! The decor is so beautiful! What a pretty looking drink…look at that feast! Seems to have many dishes with different flavors…Thanks Shin adding it to Vacation planner…would order the grilled Octopus and the fish dish, asparagus and I was laughing when the dessert came out…lol! Great video!

I was staying at Aria when you filmed this . I already had Bardot , Jean Georges and then Picasso’s at Bellagio reserved so we didn’t get a chance to try it. Restaurant looks great inside . Menu is very interesting. I’ll be back at Aria in October so will check it out . Good review 😎😎😎

Yummm love that you got the octopus 🐙 but so sad you didn’t fry branzino lol… I always need to get it when it’s on the menu … this place looks great!!! I’m surprised by the “soufflé” since it was not the usual .. will need to try

If it had a outdoor patio, then I would be ok with the prices. The portion sizes are to be expected from a french menu. Definitely a date night location. Maybe a small birthday. If I was a local I wouldn't visit the location more than twice.
Great design and layout for the bar. You can get a decent early supper for around 50$ if you don't get greedy.
A cocktail and the prime burger and you got a decent night going for $50. I would personally get that caviar omelet as well though. Thanks for watching!

Another great video from Shin! One complaint this time however, too much background noise! The crowd I can accept but that musical track in parts was too much I could hardly understand Shin. Just my opinion.
Yeah, this one was really hard to edit. The music was blaring in the restaurant and I had to mute out the copyrighted music with a separate track for UA-cam. It's been more common in restaurants nowadays with ultra loud music playing. Thanks for watching!
I see you trying to dodge that DMCA like Neo, Shin. Hope it works! Love the aesthetic here and the food looks good but a tad bit, basic? A little duck fat could have elevated those fries. Maybe some chili flakes on the asparagus as well.

glass straws takes me back to 1955 when i, at age 5, was hospitalized after being run over by a car. dont recall seeing them until now. caviar presentation looked very inviting. size portions on side dished looked small for the price. would like to try other items on their menu.
This is the 2nd restaurant in my recent reviews that had glass straws. I like them a lot actually. The portions were a bit small no doubt. I'm a big dude so I like my big portions. Thanks for watching!

It seems like $150 per person is pretty standard now. Coming from Canada with exchange things get pricy real fast. I can't say it all looked great, but the taste tells the tale.

I have a day job. But the channel makes enough to cover 1-2 meals like this a month, depending on how well the videos are doing. So I can go nuts for 2 meals, then go to like a $30 buffet for 2 meals, and I've spent $60-$100 on the channel a month. It's not that bad. Thanks for watching!

I did though not with this bite. It was good and salty but did not help with the texture of the pasta that was my biggest gripe.

It was just the circumstances. I have the industry bar audio mic system with my RODE setup, used by news corporations in the field. But our booth was directly under a speaker and it was playing at full blast. There was just no helping it unfortunately. The burger was fantastic and the ice cream was very good too. Very hard to get into the M Brunch absolutely. Cathedrale is very expensive for sure, in line with Aria in general. If I return, I'll just be getting the prime burger. It's really good. Thanks for watching!

Is it noisey ? I went to papi steak based on your review and ended up texting my wife at the table because the annoying rap music was so loud I couldn't hear anything
Much less noisy than Papi Steak for sure. I was sat right under a speaker in the bar space so it's more loud there but the dining room in the back especially is much more intimate and quiet. Thanks for watching!
