I enjoy watching snowblower videos because I'll be moving to NH soon(ish) and the driveway we'll have is no where big enough for a plow, which i use now. @VikingShipExplorer 10 місяців тому

Yes a heated cab is the best for snow blowing without a doubt. You should find one for yours or build one. I'm pretty sure you have all the tools and know how to get it done. Something to ponder for next year. It would make for some great channel content . Even if you found an older one and modified it to fit, would be a great asset for the winter months. Great video as always and great snow blowing on the JD.

Hey Elliot that looked like an awful lot of snow for that lawn tractor to move. The kubota with the 7 ft blower would have been more practical for that amount of snow. The X730 did very well to blow that amount of snow. You'd need a bigger machine to plow that amount. If that's a relatively typical snowstorm several times/winter in that area, I think a snowblower is the way to go . For the snow we get, 5-10" when we get a storm, a loader mounted plow on my 1025R works fine for me. Beautiful property. Watched your channel several times now. Finally subscribed. Cheers

Come on! Clean out that whole area in front of the storage shed! And....it's easier if you go with the wind instead of against it. If you have to go against the wind, consider lowering the discharge chute so you don't the majority of that snow so high in the air that it just blows back on you.. So, what do I know about blowing snow? I've used a John Deere 1028 SE and currently use a 1330 SE walk behind....no cab....no heated cab, though they did have heated handles.....no protection from blowing snow. One season I did use an old full-face motorcycle helmet to help me avoid snow blowback. It worked great and since I mainly blew snow at night, I even wore a LED headlamp with a red light so folks could see me better! The things we do to move the snow!
I learned my trade from watching 15-ton Oshkosh blowers at work while I was in the Air Force in Alaska, the Upper Peninsula of Michigan, Indiana, and South Dakota! I figured out real quick it was far better to blow snow rather than plow it or shovel it! Nice unit you've got there....take care!

Not my property, not my decision what he wants cleaned up, and what he wants left...and as far as the wind goes, I was already committed once I realized what was happening, and I'm not one to back down from a fight, especially when I'm inside a heated cab!

Fair enough! Say....didn't ole Punxsutawney Phil predict an early Spring this year!? Wonder how many more times we'll be out still blowing snow until the Robins actually show up!? Anyhow, best wishes for snow blowing success from 7000' in the Jemez Mountains of Northern New Mexico!

Why did you start right lane and that after you blow over the path you already cleaned ??? You should have start on the left side and work your way to the right with the help of the wind ....... 🤦‍♂

That driveway is a joke. No one needs a mile long driveway.

It’s not a mile. It’s 500’. Less than one tenth of a mile. Why does the length of it make it a joke?

@EverythingElliott lol maybe it's just the way the camera is but I couldn't really tell. If you enjoy clearing snow that way instead of using a slightly bigger snow blower then alright man that's great. The snowblower you have now looks like it would take a long time to clear snow. Stay warm

Listening to the engine of the John Deere and the snowblower rattle for that time would have been terrible

No it’s 2024, and those are entire headlights, not just covers.
