You sold me on every book that was outside my usual genres. Thanks so much!!!!! ❤ I'm glad I rediscovered my love for reading by falling into your videos 2 weeks ago. I've already read 7 books this month! That's awesome as I haven't picked up a book in about 10 years! Keep doing what you're doing! I love to see how big the book community really is! It makes me feel like a part of something genuine! ❤
MY QUEEN 🤌🏾✨ YOU LOOK ABSOLUTELY STUNNING. when you started talking about fourth wing my pores started raising its def a good read 🤭 we won’t talk about iron flame 😭😭 but hopefully the 3rd in the series will be better
I thought in Terms and Conditions it was the grandpa who give each brother conditions to get their inheritance. It’s been a while since I read the books so I could be wrong. Love the recommendations!
Absolutely love love your channel. Please can you also recommend websites where we can download novels to read. Some of the books you mention are not easily available in Zimbabwe and if you do come across them you pay an arm and a leg to buy them.
Some people (not me) specifically find world building the best part of fantasy. I have a friend who LOVES Lord of the Rings because it contains one of the most complex and in depth worlds ever built by an author. In my opinion, it's a little boring, but to each their own you know? I still really like fantasy and world building is great (until you're on like book 15 of Wheel of Time or something), but I prefer stories a little more focused on characters. Add a dash of magic and adventure in too, and we're all having an extra good time. For someone trying to dip their toes into fantasy, I would recommend Tress of the Emerald Sea by Brandon Sanderson. He's one of the current most beloved fantasy authors. He's great at world building, and character development, and plot. He comes up with interesting magic systems, etc. Most of his books are thick and a part of long series, but this one is a stand-alone and much shorter than his usual fare, but it will give you a little taste of his writing and I think be a good metric for figuring out if you like fantasy and maybe helping guide what kind of fantasy to dive a little deeper into.
So you said in your last video that you are working through somethings. One, I wish you all the best on that journey. Two, you need to drop everything and read this “Good Morning, Monster” by Dr. Catherine Gildiner. Do it and report if you feel moved. Third, thank you for your engaging and simple (in the best way) videos. They are comfort to me, and by your comments, many others.
Love and other words Gonna keep that one on my *to buy list* in my own language it has the title: *Ik ben je niet vergeten* I believe But first have to read the books on my shelfs I already bought 2 books yesterday online when I told myself to stop but You know the stuggle Gotta have this and this 😂 just 1 more
LOVE the video as someone who has been wanting to get into reading for a while and I trust you with recs!! do you know of any books that give farm life vibes and maybe romance with no spice? Thank You!!
Hey Friend, Happy Thursdays. I’m not sure how anyone can read more than 5 books in a month. 😮 I love this video and seeing what books are enjoyable in each genre. 😊🥰
I really want to dip my toe into romance, but I feel I'm not really a romance girly. I do have to say that Terms and Condition has caught my attention, so thank you for talking about that one. Oh, and Project Hail Mary is a book I finished nearly two weeks--a book I remember you recommended a while back! I enjoyed that one, and I'm looking forward to the movie. A long wait for it to be released! 🥲
New subscriber, I almost exited stage left when you recommended Fourth Wing...not gonna lie one of the worst books I ever read but you drew me back in with the rest of your recs especially with you Sci-fi and fiction. Videos like this help me get to know the booktuber and I read and liked all but one on your list...will definitely stick around for awhile tired of all the YA recs out there.
I'm a new author and I'd love to get a review from you on my book; Quantum Interface. Set in 2057, Quantum Interface is an Afrofuturism tale infused with eroticism and adventure.
Hey Khalila! I'm Aena, your biggest fan. I'm just here to remind you that please read the "Shatter Me" series by Tahereh Mafi. Please. I'm like seriously begging you! Ok byeee.❤
