Lefties are the bestie 😅 I have only read one Stephen King book and it was years ago. I vaguely remember the movie Salem’s Lot (80s baby/90s kid…parents pretty much let us watch whatever 😂) and it was creepy. So I am sure the book should be good time!

So happy for fall reading! I think it's a great idea to do a digital detox, but I love music, so I would have to have music on. You work a full-time job also, so maybe schedule screen time daily to check in with your Instagram, TikTok, and Patreon and be very strict with the time. Then, schedule content time, and it might help manage your time? You picked some good books! I love all things Sherlock Holmes and mysteries. Enjoy your week happy reading 📚 😊

I definitely recommend starting with Vera Wong's Unsolicited Advice for Murderers or Thursday Murder Club, to start on a funny/lighthearted note before you get into more creep town stuff! And then maybe save the other one for midway through these books as a palate cleanser/break from the scares!

Salem's Lot is the novel King wrote that expanded on his short story Jerusalem's Lot published in his short story collection titled Night Shift. Out of the 20 short stories 10 were made into movies.

I’ve read three books of Liane Moriarty’s and I’ve loved all three of them so much! Her stories are deep dives into immoral and definitely not perfect characters and their relationships with one another. I haven’t read big little lies yet cuz I’ve been saving it for last. It has the best rating of all her books, so hopefully you like it!
I've never done a full social media/screen detox, but I'm having an Instagram free month in August for example. Also, sometimes on Sundays, I'm off social media, but I still watch youtube because that's when new videos come out. 😆 Absolutely love your personality and content. 💖
I only download social media on my phone one weekend of the month and my mood has definitely gotten better. I also noticed that if I’m on tiktok/Instagram/watching tv for too long I start to feel sick. I’ve been thinking about getting the e-ink phone too to lower my screen time. But I do love my kindle that’s my freebie for screen time
Oh! I just read Big Little Lies! So good! One of those books where you sit down and devour 100 pages without realizing it.
I am currently reading Rock Paper Scissors. I feel like you have to give it a chance because it doesn’t hook you fast. I’m finally at a point where I am wondering where is this plot going, how many secrets are there and really don’t see how it’s going to end! It has me fully hooked now.

I think you have some great reads for fall. I loved The Woman in The Window (I did not know that there was a movie out for it, I will have to go look for the movie). Rock, Paper, Scissors was really good, I even had my husband read that one. Big Little Lies was the first book that I read by Liane Moriarty and is the reason I am reading more of her books. I loved it. I have heard that A Discovery of Witches is really good and have it on my TBR. Rebecca has been on my TBR for at least 2 years, I did try to read it last year but I was not in the mood and put it down, definitely want to give it another try.

I read Salem's Lot 40 yrs ago, there is a scene in it that I still remember all the time. Scared teen me to death. Hopefully I'll read it again one of these days.

The author of Discovery of Witches or her publishing people run a readalong on Facebook starting in September where you read the book as it's happening. The series is spectacular. I strongly disliked Rock Paper Scissors but maybe it was just the audiobook. Assistant to the Villian is a good time!

Dark Matter is so good! But honestly, Recursion by Blake Crouch (same author) took me on a ROLLERCOASTER of emotions. IMO it's a step up from Dark Matter in terms of just sucking you into the story.

October is the ~primary~ spooky month but spooky season in general I think generally starts around september and goes through the whole fall so until November ish!!
