Beautiful Piece, thanks for sharing. I tried turning some spalted wood today. Didn’t go so smoothly. Rotting wood isn’t cooperating

Hi Allen. Thanks for your comment. Appreciated. You often need to stabilise the punky wood with sanding sealer, thinned epoxy or by some other means to be able to get a good cut with a sharp tool.
