      Cheers Alan, I’m going to have a free downloadable PDF file with several ways that I use all of these products on my website
      I find myself explaining it often and going over the same steps.
      Take care

    Great looking bowl Rob. Great choice on the bottom with just your logo. The color goes with the brand very well.

      Hi Mike
      I thought so anyway, the wood didn’t need any help really and I’m lovin the look of my brand.
      Cheers

    Very helpful Rob, appreciate the tip about denatured alcohol and drying the sanding oil prior to finish. Nice bowl outcome, stay safe and cheers from MT USA

    Hi Rob! You have some very nice friends, that is a pretty piece of wood. We have a broad leaf maple indigenous to the coast that shows similar colour when its spalted. Nice job! Cheers from the Wet Coast!

      Thanks for watching , he’s promised to bring me more too, it was surprisingly hard wood so no need to stabilize, hackberry is very common around pelee and looks pretty cool spalted
      Cheers

    Totally love the spalted look. You said you were using a microcrystalline wax, but i didn't catch the name. May I ask what that was please?

    Huh, so was this not one of the logs you spalted yourself?

    • @WoodsleeSummercraftwoodturning
      @WoodsleeSummercraftwoodturning  3 роки тому +1

      Actually yes i did spalt it myself but not from the experiment video, if you take a fresh cut log and put it in a plastic bag it will most likely spalt, ive done the same with apple wood and currently maple, just be aware of the potential of mold!
