You're Welcome. Have fun testing beta out. Just remember though that they'll stop access to Beta eventually. This is just meant for them to test out updates before pushing to the main game. :)
They said in the letter that showed up after the game started that in every updates they are trying not to make players to reset the game. But if reset is unavoidable, they will reset it except the farm layout etc. Can you explain how actually it works? Bc I once lost all my save files after the latest update.
Hi! So I think this happened early this month when the team accidentally pushed an update that they weren't supposed to yet. This caused some user's save files to be inaccessible. They rolled it back and some were able to recover their save files as long as they haven't made a new save file yet after that. They posted about this on their discord channel. So they will handle the save files depending on the kind of update it'll be. However, some upcoming updates might fundamentally change the game which will reset our progress except for: gold, inventory, farm layout, interior, and mastery. I guess, for small updates, we get to keep our save file, but if it's something reallllllly big, we just have to be mentally prepared to start over lol - good thing we can keep some progress. I know some people are waiting until full release before playing all out so they won't have to worry about this.
@@cessxplays "mentally prepared" Lol, 😅. So if resetting happens, we probably would restart only the story and keep our gold, farm layout, interior, and mastery, unless something big happen and lose everything. Oke, thank you so much. Ill check the discord after this probably.
@@gimcurang1640 haha yes, I've been mentally preparing for a wipe out just incase anything happens. Game is still in early access after all. Might also be a goood idea to manually back up your save files, if you're on steam. (If you're on a switch, then sorry, idk how to manually back up.) You can find your save files here: C:\Users\[your PC name]\AppData\Local\ProjectCoral\Saved
what's the difference between playing the public beta and the normal one? does it lag more? or are things more unfinished? Just want to know before i try
Beta is basically just a version for Devs to test features and other updates before pushing it to the main game. They'll eventually disable access to beta, so don't invest too much time in beta. It's just for testing.
I’m so confused. I tried the code you showed, but it didn’t work. How do I update my game or is it only for the Alpha? *update: I got it to work my but file got deleted. Did that happen to many people? 😭💀
Hi! So when you use the public beta version, you will not be able to load your main game file. The beta branch will use a completely separate save location. So, when you move back to the main branch, your existing save will still be there. You will need to start a new game in beta. But when you switch over to your main game again, (go back to the beta dropdown, then select NONE, steam will download some stuff for the main game again) you should be able to access your main save file again.
Hi, Yes there will be new fruit trees. But I haven't gotten that far yet in my playthrough in Beta. I did mention that on my other video though discussing all upcoming updates. 😊
Please dont tell me they are gonna reset everything i donated into the museum . i manage to capture and donate almost all insect type, if they reset all that im gonna explode
Hi! I'm hoping museum won't reset too, but on their Early Access FAQ, they only excluded gold, inventory, farm layout, interior, and mastery on reset. This was what they wrote: "Our goal is to maintain your save files as we update the game. However, some updates may fundamentally change the game. When this happens, all progression data will be reset, except for: gold, inventory, farm layout, interior, and mastery."

That craft everywhere is a bit too much i think. The fun of selecting everything we need is gone, instead I really want that they fix the picking item system work, like take all, take a half of the stack, etc.
Thank you so much for sharing how to access the update Beta. I’m not on the Discord and no one else has shared. I’m so excited to play this! 😊

Bless you. Thank you for telling us the beta code ❤️
Enjoy!! Just don't invest too much of your time and effort in beta haha. it's just for testing. :)

Yay!!! I'm glad you got it back!
I think there is some fruit tree addition that you didn't mention in this video?

I personally find no fun in it, but I would settle for the con of craft from any chest would be to use a work bench of some kind.
