Mark was clearly spot on when he said he was a perpetual inventor with the way he accepted Robert's offer without blinking and a ear to ear smile on his face haha. Good stuff for the guy, great idea, and he is going to make money without being barred to it.

Technically no, this isn’t new. It has been done

Google the record runner, you’ll see how much of an inventor he is. That’s why he doesn’t have the full patent.

Rokblok is still going to this day, generating around a 5 million dollar net worth and securing other investors and endorsements with music celebrities. Good to see them doing well.
No, it really isn't. The product isn't only a gimmick, it's a scam lol. They're well known to damage records, and the playback quality is absolutely atrocious -- unlistenable. It can't maintain a consistent speed around the record, so the audio is badly warped. It's clear he used a percussion track in his demo to hide the pitch warping.

Truly enjoyed this pitch. No party parade pitch like stuff but just pure passion, authenticity and himself being so ingenious. Roberts offer was pretty great too if he has more ideas in the pipeline and that 2 year deal could extend not knowing what the future holds.
Robert is so cool! He always gives offers with the most respect and not greedy like the others!
Yes, and he mostly invests in a slow burn products where he can trust the entrepreneur. He is never too greedy to earn back his investment too fast
They all understood him, he just gave him a deal he couldn’t dream of. That was a great deal for the guy.
A deal that never happened.

This is nothing new. My cousin has had a 7 Up van from the 70’s that did the same thing. The reason record collectors don’t use them is because they damage the records. He took an existing products and just put it in a wood block. I can’t believe Robert bought into it
A tiny percentage of the posts here have actually mentioned this. Looks like he pulled the wool over everyone's eyes.

Super smart with a cool personality and a huge smile and good energy… he was focused and prepared
A great product, presentation, and deal. Props to both Logan and the Sharks.
This is one of the best deals I've heard and he deserves it. He's an inventor after all. He might've turned himself into an employee for a couple years but that's a good thing coz he can keep himself productive while thinkin of his next venture. That is one crazy deal! Congrats to him! 👍
I'm a huge vinyl enyhusiast and I have spent well over $1200 on my current set up, and even more on the records themselves. This is a really cool idea, and I want to buy one and try it out. Nice job!
don’t. Do some research first. Really bad product.
@@Whoiam146 Thanks for the heads up, i checked more into it and was very disappointed. A lot of my collection is new and I'd hate to wreck a $30-$50 vinyl for a gimmick.
Gimmick is right. I don’t believe the inventor is an audiophile. There is no way this works without using insane tracking force to keep it in the groove.
Ull love it... surface should be bigger than the vinyl
Looks like a dodgy disc demolition device to me. Just look at 0:33 the way he grabs that vinyl disc with his bare fingers all over the record at the start of his presentation. He's not somebody who knows about or cares about taking proper care of vinyl albums.
This was easily my favorite pitch ever. I don’t have enough perfect things to say about it. Bravo Logan, such a brilliant (and beautiful) product.
Good for Robert and this entrepreneur, perfect deal

If you're an actual vinyl head, you'd never use this crap. It'll destroy them.
There are just some people where you can see the never ending drive and this guy is definitely going places! The sharks really are investing in the people more than the product!

I loved the honesty and dedication of the person and I am happy about how this turned out for him. Kudos!!!
He took a idea that was 50 years old.
"Honesty" all he did was add a bluetooth speaker to a device that's existed for 50 years.
Mark and Robert made the right call. He's a perpetual inventor with no focus

Love that Mr wonderful always lets them hear the other sharks
The rokblok isnt new; old school DJ's in New York had a small red truck that did this exact same thing. They used it to look for samples in record stores. Q-Tip used one for decades.
What's equally impressive in this episode to go along the amazing product and entrepreneur is the brilliant deal that Robert came up with, it was a 10 on all possible parameters
Downright fantastic business problem solving 💯
Boy, what a fool you are. Amazing how so many people are easily fooled by a scammer with charisma.
It always impresses me when a Shark makes a better offer than another shark and the camera goes back to the first one and you see how they realize that they lost opportunity.
That's a shark who understands what the person making the pitch is *really* looking for.
Very interesting offer. Never saw something this convoluted in the tank before but it’s a win-win deal
This is awesome! I inherited a bunch of vinyl but don’t have the equipment and don’t want to spend the money on all of it or give up the space.
RokBlok will destroy your vinyl. You can get a decent record player for the price of this crap.
The most impressive inventor by far on the show. The fact he taught himself electrical engineering by using UA-cam alone? That is beyond admirable what an icon

Brilliant product and brilliant offer by Robert!
This already existed, I saw one probably 20 years ago, looked like a little car or something, drove around the record (no Bluetooth.) He really should have been transparent about that, and he would know.
Also, I got so excited, I have that same stereo he brought!
Beautiful lighted display, looks awesome in the dark, will keep it forever : )
Records are very relaxing and good for your energy, don't buy a crappy system if you're gonna get into it.
Yeah I remember them. Little buses that broke your records. Just like this thing, apparently
Yeah, everyone is saying how brilliant he is but this is an old idea. All he did was take it to China to have them reverse engineer it and add Bluetooth.
Wow what a great offer , the guy must be stoked .
Robert didn't make this deal after all.
This guy is awesome. Creative genius.
I’m really happy for the guy. Perfect deal. He made a bunch of money.. He doesn’t have the stress of the owner but can still work on it and make unit for every single unit.
These aren't new - I sold these in a gift store in the 1990s.. little Volkswagen bugs that went around on a record
These have been out since the late sixties
He is correct about analog
Really like the guy, seems clever and really has amazing ethic to get things done, but I don’t believe the product makes much sense. No one is going to lug around a big vinyl to use it outside. But still is impressive.
wow great deal he got there from robert and robert has a new great creative guy on his team
That guys Awesome 😎! What a fantastic guy and impressive personality and skills! Love him!!!!!!
This guy is right. The vinyl market has more people who want the quirk of a record player than audiophiles. You know this because of all the $100 record players that audiophiles wouldn't be caught dead with, because it apparently "sounds bad" and "damages the records"
That's because all the new people getting into record collecting don't know any better, and they see a turntable for $70 -$100 and that's about all they can budget, allowing them to grab some records too, without realizing they've just been had by the retailer. Crosby pushers aren't your friends.
@@pabloplato Audio-Technical is good for the low market with the LP60x, but those suitcase players are horrible
@@mr.mallard2522 Audio Technica. But I prefer having pitch control/counter weight/anti-skate in addition to being direct drive. Anything else that's modern is just making do until you know better.

Very generous... Love this show
Nuff respect for this brother. I live in the US, but my reggae vinyl collection will be shipped to me in early 2023 and I gave away all my speakers, amp, etc when I emigrated. I'm going to buy this product when I get my records back. Yeaaah Maaaaan.
Very creative! Brownie points for that. Records are delicate. Putting a rotating device right on their surface does not sit well with me.
Biggest problem this product has is the speaker rotates in a circle. If you truly are an audiophile, this will greatly reduce the quality of the sound produced, you want your speaker in a stationary location.
That guys enthusiasm is infectious.
Yess someone that smart and said yesss
first i thought he messed up by being so honest about his situation, but then it turned to be the factor that gave him his dream deal. sweet
Well deserved! This guy is not done. Kudos to him
Robert in my opinion did a fantastic wise deal ! Good going 👍
This might be my favorite pitch.
He got the guy figured out. He's an inventor and wants to jump on the next project asap.
I got extremely lucky!!! I can't even believe it.. I found a RokBlok in a church thrift shop for $3- it is fantastic ... especially after looking up online that it's $99 retail... there's a market!! I own about 1k albums and always buying
1k and you’re using this?!?!
You don't care about your vinyl then.
That is freaking genius. How have I never heard of it
Well I just heard that this invention was already created decades ago…reason it probably never caught on is because it ruins your records
