Great review, honestly I’ve tried every Babolat poly string and I’m not a fan, have you tried isospeed baseline control? It comes at a great price

The only Isospeed string I've tried is cream and it is way too soft and springy for me. But very comfortable and a lot of power.

Hey, was wondering if you’ve ever tried the Volkl V-Pro string? I’ve not seen any reviews of it on UA-cam despite it being released for some time now. Was wondering what your feedback on the string would be! Love the vids!

Hi, thank you for you support. Unfortunately, I've never tried Volkl V-Pro but it seems like a good budget string so I may try it in the future.

Do you pull two times on your Pros Pro Crank... or tension it 10 % higher and then only one pull?

What does crisper mean? Softer feeling or stiffer?

    • @opencourt808
      @opencourt808  3 місяці тому

Generally it means it's stiffer because it has a more solid response with a pop sensation when you strike the stringbed. Softer strings tend to feel a bit mushy

Pro Hurricane Tour 16 is not much differnt from RPM Blast 16.
Its a notch less stiff (3-5 %) but has more spin potiential bc low string to string COF. Otherwise the same energy return and tension loss.

This string shines below 50 pounds. Preferred 48/46

Lighter colours (white) plays softer, not crisper.... Crisper means stiffer..... also these words crisp and lively means something different for different players around the world. i would avoid using those word (crisp/lively)
better to talk about if the ball comes out quick or slow from stringbed. or if it has ball pocketing or not.
Lively actually means ball comes fast out the stringbed aka the string is stiff and not much ball pocketing. Many people misunderstand this.

Crisper does not mean stiffer. Stiff does not mean crisp. There are lots of muted very stiff strings. There are some soft and crisp strings.

@@tamagonbagel6569 So what is your definition of "crisp"? bc it seems to be different from person to person.
Lively do mean stiff, if you ask any coach, as the ball leaves the racket faster with very little ball pocketing.
so if you use the frase crisp and lively in one sentence descriping the same string you most mean stiff.
And if you see the lab test of the strings he mention you can conclude he loves the strings more stiff. SO its quite clear that when he say crisp and lively he means stiff string.

@@tamagonbagel6569 Crisp means most likely firm/hard. hard to be crisp when being soft.

White is not always softer its often stiffer than black

@@nakmuay5034 Not in my experience. The black die does something to the nylon/polyester and tightens up/mutes the string response.
