24/23kg is too high tension for this string setup. I went for 22/21kg on RF01 PRO (98" - 16x19) and it seems to be perfect choice. Even if still can be felt a bit stiff at the beginning.

Tru pro black night, i have a set all though didn't have chance to test it yet eveyone says it's crisp, predictable, spin friendly and comfortable.

You should check out Tour Status, a stiff, shaped string with a bit of pop, since you like Tour Bite. I felt like Black Knight is more similar to Confidential, a more dead control string.

Hi so from someone who plays at a club with a lot of higher level recreational players I totally disagree with your statement about this being a racquet that recreational players should not consider....because it says Pro does not mean you have to be one to use it as I know many players here using it who do not find it over whelming ....you also go to reccomend either a Babolat Pure Drive or Wilson Clash , 2 racquets at the total opposite ends of the spectrum with the former a stiff power racquet and the latter a arm friendly very soft buttery racquet. At that point I shutdown your review lol

With your thoughts/idea on Tour Bite round... I have a Hybrid Idea for you: Try regular Tour Bite 1.20 in the mains, and then ReString Sync 1.20 in the crosses - Or for further added spin potential try TB 1.25 in the mains, Sync 1.20 in the crosses - could be fun!

Hi, looking at the old version 100 Phantom 100x 16 x 18, the old version. I can handle the Blade 98 V8, but I don't want to creep higher into the weight zone, because as an older player I've lost some setup speed, swing power was great in Blade, I liked that I could swing it faster without fear of it going over. Do you think a Phantom, the old version is a fit? Or, the clash would be better. I can also just buy an old Blade V8 100. Looking for comfort, and not getting sore and tight, due to rotator cuff pinched nerve. Thus far Blade 98 was the best feeling of them all, but thinking 100 may be a better fit. I borrowed that 98 from a family member, who likes to hit it too fast to me. Lol. Thanks older singles base line fun player.

Thanks for the review. You are right a second video is not needed but I would try the round in the mains as well. I've found most polys even with a shaped hybrid doesn't really rip into the round strings.

I recently tried the lynx tour although it feels great like the silver tour, the feel didn’t last as long as silver7t which lasts 2x longer.

probably it implies that any super sharp string is pretty bad in poly/poly crosses.

I’m going to have to try this out, I did try hyper g -4 sided with wasabi x in the cross and it was ok but didn’t love it , favorite Solinco hybrid is revolution in the mains and outlast in the cross

I think I need the 100P; I love my 100 from the baseline, but it doesn't volley or backhand slice as well as my old Wilson Ntour. Like you I often add weight to the handle to stabilise the racquet.

Hi Kent, thanks for a great review. I have a question. I've got the 2024 Head Speed Pro, which I absolutely love. I've been using a full bed of Head Hawk Power at 48lbs, which has good feel and control with enough power for me. The only drawback is the bed freezes up quite quickly from wear and grooving. So I'm wondering about either a full bed of ReString Sync or a hybrid of Zero & Sync. In a full bed of Sync, I'd probably go for 48lb and in the hybrid 50 mains (zero) & 48 crosses (sync). What are your thoughts on how this might feel compared to a full bed of Hawk Power? I'm an all-court player with plenty of my own power and I like volleying. Thanks

Hi, I am a utr 5.0. Should I use lead tape on my racket and if yes where should I put it?

Lux Eco Power feels like absolute crap. The worst string I ever tried. Because of that, I'm afraid to try other eco-friendly strings. From your review, the Gamma Sapphire is better. However, I prefer crisper feeling strings, not muted ones. So probably not for me.

What string and tension do you use in this racket?

There's no such thing as a biodegradeable plastic string - its marketing nonsense. Al the plastic does is eventually break into microplastics that are so small that they can enter the food chain, into the blood stream and brains of animals, humans etc.

I don't trust those claims to be eco friendly. Even if these strings decompose 100x faster, what will be the remains, microplastic? And still they are made of crude oil. Besides, I live in Germany, waste is burnt anyway (by law), as long as it's no recyclable waste like paper or glass. So any strings that I cut out will evaporate to smoke anyway. Balls have way more impact. All the felt that is missing at the end of their life span, guess where it is. It's microplastic in the environment. So that's where eco friendly solutions can make a difference. But if these strings play well, then why not?

Even most pros dont put polys in the 50+lbs tension. If you are not swing a heavy stick with speed of the pros, I wouldnt recommend stringing polys higher than 50lb unless you have a iron elbow.

Tried it. 54M-52X in a PS98 and it lasted 10min before it became a racket launcher. Tried Restring, tried Toro all with the same result. Lux 4GS, Babolat RPM Rough 17 the goto setup for us. Great review tho!
