The molding of the liquorice is that of a (Rijks)Daalder or 2.5 Gulden piece: Gulden=Guilder= Goldpiece and Daalder=Dollar=1.5 Gulden. Fun fact about the Joppie chips. They came from a contest where a new flavor of chips was made. There were 3 temporary flavors to try and the winner would stay. Joppie chips won. And I love wokkels for dipping. It is fun to 'drill' them in the sauce. A lot of sauce will stick to it that way.
