The Netherlands has my heart. I've traveled to many countries in Europe, but none compare to it. I visited in 2014, 2018, and 2020, and now I'm planning to go again. Thanks for this. My parents are from the Netherlands. I've been several times, but only visited with family. Next time will be to explore. Thanks for inspiring me.
I was at St. Bavo with 2 of my sons and one of their wives. We were leaving thru the gift shop, making a purchase, and all these people were going INTO the church. The shopkeeper said, 'oh, there's a free organ concert." We went back and it did NOT disappoint.
The Netherlands are great to bike across. Rent-a-bike anywhere, most easy next to a railwaystation. Also e-bikes. Then visit all the ancient small cities and villages, only 5km to 10km away from each other. You can never get lost! Feel free on your bike, the wind through your hair, allways in front ('een bolle wind') of you😢. Hotels along the way. Restaurants too, for 'pannenkoeken'!
In my city of Holland Mi USA we have the last authentic windmill from the Netherlands that was allowed to leave the country.. We are currently building a canal through the city as an ice skating canal. We are located on the western shore of Lake Michigan.
Buy a Zamboni or something similar so that people can skate on good ice on nice sunny winterdays in January and February. Also origanize events for school children and older people.
I went once when I was an exchange student in Indiana in 2007 (I'm Dutch myself, currently live in Amsterdam). I mainly remember running into a guy who spoke Pennsylvanian Dutch at the clog factory (Mennonite?) and assumed we would speak the same language. Had to tell him he was speaking a version of German and not Dutch.
My mom came from the Netherlands and was scrambling to go back ,we was supposed to move back indefinitely. She was showing me videos of the city’s and telling me most of the history. Then she suddenly died . So it’s kinda like I have to go there to complete my ma last wish .

Thank you, needless to say a gorgeous place rich in history and art! I'm a professional artist/illustrator/painter and when I went to Europe to study art, unfortunately I didn't get to the renown Netherlands. Was mostly in Italy, a short time in Spain and France and then England. My youngest daughter did get to Amsterdam when she attended university in the UK. I have a bit of Dutch ancestry on my paternal grandmother's side, but they originally came from Germany. My late father's family left Rotterdam in 1732, landed in Philadelphia, fought in the Revolutionary War, three of them generals. The Pennsylvania Dutch! My first Halloween costume when I was three was a Dutch girl with my blonde Dutch boy haircut. I went to high school with a classmate whose parents were right off the boat from Holland and all around their house were beautiful different colored tulips, loved walking past that in the Spring on the way to school! ♥♥
I would like to go. My ancestry is of a Dutch trader that came to America in the 1640's when New York was called New Amsterdam. He got arrested for selling firearms and ammunition to the natives. OOPS. The town that my name comes from is north of Amsterdam. Thanks to the internet I can see new and old pictures of it. As much as I'd like to go I'd rather see Italy.

I have missed the best amusement park from Europe! THE EFTELING!!!
Thanks for this. My parents are from the Netherlands. I've been several times, but only visited with family. Next time will be to explore. Thanks for inspiring me.
wow, that is great.
The best place
Thank You so much for this exquisite tour thru the Netherlands where many of our ancestors came from. Love and best whishes from South Africa. 🇿🇦
I love the people from the Netherlands.
The Dutch hospitality and the lively atmosphere make The Netherlands a must-visit destination!
It truly is 😊
Stay away!
I was at St. Bavo with 2 of my sons and one of their wives. We were leaving thru the gift shop, making a purchase, and all these people were going INTO the church. The shopkeeper said, 'oh, there's a free organ concert." We went back and it did NOT disappoint.
I loved my trip there and cannot wait to go back!!
Amazing places! thanks for sharing this with us...
Netherlands is a very beautiful country 💖👍
nice video
Thank you for this film and this is just the half of the country..
Beautiful show…..well explained about the places. Enjoyed the whole show.
Your videos bring new experiences, they are very good. Sitting at home can still admire the beautiful scenery of different countries
In my city of Holland Mi USA we have the last authentic windmill from the Netherlands that was allowed to leave the country.. We are currently building a canal through the city as an ice skating canal. We are located on the western shore of Lake Michigan.
Having an original windmill , building a canal and being called Holland, . now that's sounds like a fun town ;)
Hello from an HCHS grad!
What a clean and beautiful country! A ‘must-visit’ for me ❤️
My mom came from the Netherlands and was scrambling to go back ,we was supposed to move back indefinitely. She was showing me videos of the city’s and telling me most of the history. Then she suddenly died . So it’s kinda like I have to go there to complete my ma last wish .
@@vincentvillanueva3234 Then do not waste too much time. You stay in Utrecht (easy from Schiphol-airport) for a couple of days. In the centre at the 'Vreeburg/Vredenburg-hotel at the corner of that plaza. You shop, go by bus from the station to different places. Maybe you will change lodging. When getting used to the traffic you hire a bike at any station. You get informed with all the details on internet. Be very well prepared. And then you enjoy your dutch roadtrip to the fullest.
@@vincentvillanueva3234 Do not just visit the big cities, but follow the bikelanes outside and discover beautyfull small cities and villages of around a thousand years old. Forget Amsterdam. Too crowded, not dutch, slave-heritage not to be proud of, too expensive.
@@annemaria5126 slave heritage? They had freedom of religion and fought for it. Pretty sure most of the wars wouldn’t of happened. If Dutch was ok with slavery. .. they traded with several of the ancient civilizations . As you already stated they have been around for a long time…
@@annemaria5126 thanks I want to see the windmills. / industrial city design. / historical stuff . Museums

Very nice video ! I love it so much . Thank you for sharing . Happy week to you !
Wow So so Beautiful Country ❤❤❤
I'm traveling there soon & made a video about it! I'm so excited!
Beautiful
I didn't see one adult or child wearing a bicycle helmet. Amazing. Simply a structurally beautiful and well-maintained country.
You need to rewatch.

good looking country.
Plan to visit in tulip season.
We don’t wear helmets to cycle, you’ll probably get looked at weirdly if you do.
Our country is pretty flat and have have designated bicycle lanes so it’s pretty safe.
I was so happy to learn the city my ancestors left from when sailing to America on the Fortune. I know they left from the Netherlands, but I didn't know from where. Our history books don't teach anything about it because it was the ship right after the Mayflower. While apparently not so newsworthy as the first, it certainly is important to me and I'm really happy to learn of this information. Thank you.
Amazing video of the Netherlands!
Excellent video, great content. Beautiful place to visit, thank you for sharing 🤩
spectacular scenes, wonderful architectural monuments, above all with fluid and rich description
🌍✨ What a mesmerizing journey through the Netherlands! From the enchanting canals of Amsterdam to the picturesque windmills of Kinderdijk, this video beautifully captures the essence of Dutch culture and heritage. 🇳🇱 We're inspired to explore these iconic destinations, each offering a unique charm and history. Thank you for sharing this immersive travel experience! Safe travels to all adventurers discovering the wonders of the Netherlands. 🌷💫 #Netherlands #ExploreNetherlands #TravelInspiration #DutchCulture
By mentioning these 2 places you skipp 90% of the country.
For a 2nd video visit Nijmegen oldest city in the Netherlands, Alkmaar, first city 1573 to withstand the Spanish Siege and Cheesemarket, Maastricht, our southern most city and its bourgondian lifstyle, as well as "Mergelgrottem", Den Bosch or 's Hertogenbosch, Arnhem, Amersfoort, Leeuwarden, Middelburg, Apeldoorn and Almere. Except the last city they all have historical city-centres and all have musea and parks and specific cultural items. Almere is the last founded city in polder Flevoland (1976 first houses, 1984 becoming a municupality)
In het kleine Nederland is heel veel te zien!
What about the Afsluitdijk..en Zeelands " Waterwerken"...
It's beautiful, aging gracefully yet dynamic..
@@charlotteerasmus8127 For the Afsluitdijk I refer you to ua-cam.com/video/6r6zcMl2Xmw/v-deo.html
Beautiful images of good quality.
The commentary is also excellent.
It is very nice to see this film as a Dutch person.
This film cannot be made in a short time, compliments!
Thanks a lot! ❤️
I really enjoyed this video. I always wanted to go to The Netherlands. It is a beautiful country. Hopefully I will be able to go one day. ❤️❤️❤️🦋
❤
The place is crazy, it shouldn't exist! They drained the sea & somehow hold it back, their ambition is outstanding!
@@chadsimmons6347 'Somehow'! That is a lot of work. And do not forget the rivers...the Netherlands are a Delta....rivers, wide and narrow are everywhere.
brk I live in the Netherlands and the weather is bad 9 out of 10 times.

Very nice footage! Thanks, and greetings from Canada! Have a great day.
Ever since I read "Hans Brinker or the Silver Skates" when I was a kid, I always wanted to see Holland. I can't travel, but this video was so nice to watch.
Amazing country is Netherland ❤❤
The Netherlands truly offers some of the most stunning travel destinations! 🇳🇱✨
Amazing European country we hardly ever see. Tourists will be filled with influential ideas when they get back home. 🌷
