You’re a natural dude! You should make more videos this year. It’s so cool to see how much you and your company have grown over the years. The air fryer is a nice touch 😂. It was also really cool to hear your startup story, mine is very similar. The guidance counselor story is sad. But it’s just more motivation for you. Now you’re making more than him, that’s always the funny part. Keep killing it dude, can’t wait to see what you do in the years to come!

Ive been at this for 32 years the roller coaster never stops your definetly on your way like you said work ethic,passion and i might add a few being efficient with equipment as well as educationing yourself by watching learning and always staying positive and most important a very supportive other half
Great video. We’re a new subscriber! The part that hit home for me was the balancing school and work. I’m 21 right now and I’m finishing my last year of my university degree. I started my lawn care business the summer I graduated from high school. If I had my time back, I would have committed to my business full time and not went to school. I’m happy to have a degree at my disposal but sometimes I ask myself at what cost. In the past 2 years, I have struggled extremely with managing full time university and a full time thriving business. I’m proud to say that in the next 2 years we will be able to move into a shop like yours! I can’t wait until my school is done because like you, I am passionate about this work.
I have to say I’m impressed with where you are at in your business. I know for a fact by looking at your trucks and shop you have a very good work ethic and a good head on your shoulders. I too, have experienced others doubting my ambitions for my business and most often they result to “it’s just a lawn care company”. I remind myself that those are just distractions from the end goal. It’s a slow process in this game.

Awesome man! Started mowing when I was 12. I am 20 now running 5 crews and have almost an identical story. Covid hit my junior year too and it all went uphill from there!

Hey man I 20 years old and sarted my construction company last year it’s slow I have a hard time with other companies we line in a small town in Indiana and the closest big city to us is Indy so they costumers call the cheapest possible and there is no money to be made what would u recommend in my situation

Hey Tom I’m a lawn care owner here in pa I was just here to ask if you don’t mind telling me what you pay your guys now?im asking this because I don’t know my self how to pay my guys a specific amount idk?and anthor lawn care owner told me to ask other companies in. The industry so yea please try to explain or do a vedio or something if you can????
The best advice I can give would be to go on job-websites to see what other guys in your area are paying. It differs all across the country.
Hey man do you keep diesel fuel and gas fuel tanks for your new shop
Planning to have a diesel and gasoline tank installed before spring.
Awesome idea especially for tax purposes “separating” the “on & off road costs etc” I’m a 55yr veteran truckie…rule of thumb we fuel our trucks “every night b4 we knock off” main reason was to stop condensation “build up” in our tanks “especially in the winter mths” when tanks are full “it stops that” but with today’s technology the trux come out with water separator’s now but being “old school” I still prefer that old school way PLUS every morning start “no messiness around…can go straight to work…so annually your saving literally “thousands” keep up your “hard work” my Dad taught me…there’s only “one way to make money” WORK hard for it “Good on ya mate!! “GOD BLESS” not that I’m religious lol
What tool box and fuel set up do you have in your personal truck?
Its a UWS tank/toolbox. I want to say its 100 gal. Second one I've owned and they've been great. The pump is just a 12 volt fill right. 15 gpm. They are very easy to wire in.
How do you like running black trucks?
My only complaint would be that they get dirty so easily! Most people in our area run white trucks so we like to stand out.

Yeah I get that.
Black really stands out against everyone else having white but I hate them getting dirty. Also white trucks are much easier to find and purchase.
Do employees, contractors, clients, and vendors try to take advantage of your age?
Certain past employees have back when I was still in high school, however some suppliers and dealers wouldn’t take the phone calls from a teenager. Luckily our current suppliers and dealers see our work, and me and my teams work ethic. At the end of the day that what makes a company thrive.
