FOR ORIGIN USERS : This PC>Main hard drive (Usually C:)>Program Files> Origin Games (NOT Origin)> Titanfall2. Just copy all those files into the folder and launch Northstar Launcher. Everything should work fine!

"Origin Games", not just the "Origin" also, don't put the whole Northstar folder in, extract all the files from it into the Origin Games folder. There should be no issue, I'd suggest a fresh install if it doesn't work and try again :( sorry man
Quite sad really but it happens alot most Deva after finishing and releasing just updates it for at least 3-5 years if the game really does well and just moves on to the next game

With added content. Made for free. Awesome. Sadly I can't make the jump as I just don't think I have a powerful enough PC, I'm stuck on Xbox with server attacks and a dead playerbase. well it does not require a very powerful PC. my at this point 4 year old (I think I don't remember exactly) laptop can easily handle the game. right now it is actually quite cheap on steam (3€) so you could try to see if your PC can run it.

Ngl, I was kinda expecting this to be like a decked out Northstar mod, but this does not disappoint. Hopefully, hackers and DDOSrs won’t assault this client.
It saddens me that EA basically left Titanfall to be abandonware, I love the community and I absolutely hope that Respawn or EA don't shut this down because I would be very very mad.

the client installed perfectly, but I'm facing an issue with actually connecting to servers. I hit 'join' on any server on the list, even open ones, and it says it's connecting for less than a second, then goes back like nothing happened. I thought it was just Respawn's servers, but now I need more solutions. I've already checked game file integrity, and restarting my router, and need extra help. Anyone have any ideas, or at least know where I can go for more answers?
It keeps telling me there's a corrupted file. I've uninstalled and re-installed everything twice now. Anyone else having this issue? Edit: Someone figured out a fix already, but putting it here in case you find this comment. After installation, and the corrupted file error message, close everything down. Launch your regular vanilla Titanfall 2 for one last time. Once you make it to the main menu, exit to desktop. Use your local files to launch Northstar. Enjoy!
I gave up on playing titanfall 2 in 2020 cuz the servers were dead and the hacker(s) just messed it all up. whenever i run the launcher it opens and when it gets to the tf2 loading screen it says Engine Error Failed to initialize Origin: Origin seems to be running, but the LSX Authentication Challenge failed. No communication with core is possible. [1020002] does anyone know what this means, or how to fix it.

New player here and wanted to play some MP so I followed this vid. Unfortunately whenever I click launch Northstar, it displays a "Disconnected: Authentication Failed". I wanted to know what should I do now to be able to play.

Today though I got this error message when clicking on Norhstart Multiplayer: "Disconnect: Authentication failed" In the commander it says [error] Failed reading masterserver authentication response: encountered parse error "The document is empty." Does anyone know why this is happening and if there is a fix? I've tried the usual of restarting and redownloading etc.
@Samin Rahman just said that to "update" you 😅 but actually by now there really is an update haha. Just download the update on the same page as before like you did when first getting Northstar, extract in the same folder again and overwrite. That did the trick for me
what do I do when the file for the client doesn't work, because when I go to boot the game up it tells me that the file is corrupted and you have to repair it by reinstalling it.

With the way it works I think it would be basically impossible to ddos because many people are hosting servers instead of just one company.

Will this work on linux? And what happens when you use it on a pirated version (I don't pirate that game, just askin)
You need origin token to authenticate with the Northstar master servers i think (so pirate version does not work).

It fixed for me by just launching the normal game, quitting, then launching north star.
