Could you comment on the sheath around the wires... is it the stuff that a motorcycle cable goes through? I've never seen it like this... does it cut radio or buzz, is it original? Would it be good on other wire jobs. Is it just to minimize movement at the solder joints?
Hi Dave, Just curious. I'm going to assume you have a water trap on that air compressor ;) But do you also have a micro coalescing filter on it also? Compressed air is "oil laden" if it uses oil in addition to water and a micro coalescing filter gets rid of that. Cheers!

The spring "wrap" is soldered to the pots. Yes it acts as shielding. At least it did on the Harmony I gave to my son.
