- The mysterious disappearance of 84-year-old Virginia Collier has been solved after 3-years.
Virginia left her brother's home on Macon Street in Glencoe, Alabama March 15, 2019 heading north in her electric blue 2019 Kia Optima with the Florida license plate number I175MQ and simply vanished for 3-years.
This documentary brings you alongside Adventures With Purpose's final underwater search in the area, following clues as to Virginia's last known location that day. In the end, it was hunters who found Virginia and her car in the woods where she crashed 3-years earlier.

HUNTER'S DISCOVERY SOLVES THE MYSTERY OF VIRGINIA COLLIER'S DISAPPEARANCE
================
Etowah County Sheriff Jonathon Horton said on Wednesday morning, Feb 16th 2022, a group of rabbit hunters were on land they'd leased when one of their groups located a blue 2019 Kia in a wooded area.
Horton said the hunter immediately contacted the sheriff's office, sending a photo of the car's license plate. It matched Collier's car tag.
Near the front of the car, the sheriff said, the hunter found a purse with a wallet containing Collier's Florida driver's license.
After Etowah County and Glencoe investigators met with the hunter at Black Creek Fire Department and they were led toward the site, investigators found a human cranium, then clothing and other bones.
Glencoe Police Chief Kenon McKenzie said the investigation continues, but there's no suspicion of foul play.
He said the car was found about 12 to 13 miles off Tabor Road, and he estimated it was about 12 miles from the home of Collier's brother - where she was bound the night she was last seen alive.
We are humbled by the opportunity all of you have given us to help in searches like this one for answers as to what happened to Virginia.
In the end, it was not Adventures With Purpose or any other Search Team who found Virginia. It was the rabbit hunters being in the right place at the right time which gives us hope that others like Virginia will one day be found and brought home to their families as well.
Hug the ones you love for you never know when it might be the last time you see them.

Makes me so happy to see law enforcement helping and encouraging you to search. Someone like that doesn’t just take off, and it’s good to see the support you have in searching new locations even if they aren’t “typical” locations of the person who’s missing
So glad they found her! Can't imagine how hard it must have been foe family and friends not knowing what happened to her. RIP
This is what crowd sourcing should be. Collectively our resources, fiscally and physically greatly exceed that of government resources they can dedicate.
God Bless you all for a you do!!! So amazing!!! You are in my prayers
@@briannalitz2802 no way I love that! Even spelt the same! There’s so many “Breannas” here in nz
@@Mcjagger2023 yeah happens quite a lot in their videos, it’s like they can’t let them be found by someone else which is crazy. It’s not like AWP make them look bad, they have great equipment and resources to search water that they should be welcoming into the missing persons investigation. I think a good example would be their Nicholas Allen SOLVED video. The family was so happy and grateful and law enforcement were upset about it
I love how you say "until we find her" everythings in play. You didn't say if we find her or if we don't find her. That comment alone speaks volumes to your dedication and I'm sure gives comfort to families looking for their loved ones.
You guys are doing AMAZING things! Keep bringing them home💙💙
Sad, but I'm sure family appreciated laying to rest.
You are evolving and glad to be watching it happen.
Any search team including law agencies. Will miss things here and there. That's why it sometimes important. To bring in a fresh set of eyes. To get to the bottom of things. Without any hidden agenda. Just totally focused on the missing and helping the families get answers. Well done! To a group of awesome people. That really care about the missing and their families.❤️👍👍👏👏
I think its awesome that lately the Sheriff officers are helpful and appreciate AWP being there.
You guys are so great To look at, very healing for me!! I love your work, how you work together is lovely To look at ... good luck
I was looking for her car every time I drove the area and I'm so glad she has been found. RIP Ms. Virginia ❤ Love and light to her family.
That was very nice of you to be aware and keep an eye out for her, hope that now that she was found, the community is at peace and a few questions can be answered. 🙏
Our Mom had dementia and she got lost after taking some friends home late at night. She said she doesn’t know how she got where she was, but when she “came to” she had no idea where she was. She saw a light on and went and asked where she was. She was in a town nearby, but not really that close. I don’t remember if the person told her how to get back or if she then knew how to get back to the right town. She actually made it back home, and never drove again. She was in a completely remote area far from where she was supposed to be. Made a wrong turn and drove on autopilot until she “came to”.
Just gives some ideas of how some people could be so far off from where you would suspect them.
I think this sort of thing happens more often than people realize. Those closest to the loved one my not notice the signs of dementia or are in denial about the person's abilities like driving alone for example.
@@KillerQueensRyche , very true. Unless you spend some time with them. We noticed Mom’s issues and reported her to DMV even. We sure didn’t want her injuring herself or others on the road. Unfortunately, she did fine that day on her diving test. Go figure. 😜
I'm so glad your mother was not lost for long and that things ended up well for your mom and your entire family. God bless you all.
A very similar situation happened to my Dad. After his ordeal, he walked into the house, said he thinks he had a stroke, said he was never driving again, and goodnight. He never drove again.
@@clt7616 , glad he got home safe .
My 88 year old uncle was suffering from a severe infection (unknowingly) and was extremely delirious/confused and had gotten in his car (that he never drove anymore) and proceeded to drive 25 minutes in a direction he had never gone before in his life. He ended up 2 towns over and hit a tree that ultimately saved his life. He would have gone straight into a lake if the tree didn’t stop him first. I get chills thinking of what could’ve happened to him. We would’ve never expected him to be where he was, and seeing these videos makes me realize we could have been left trying to figure out what truly happened to him if he had gone into the lake that night. Thank you for being heroes and bringing peace to so many people.
his body told him something was wrong and to drive to the hospital the problem was he didn't know how to get there so the brain randomly drove hoping to find help(you can not even realize your brain is doing it he didn't even consciously know he had an infection but part of the brain that acts without us having to think about it tried to save him) we think old age dementia makes them do random things but literally NOTHING is random the brain always knows why even if you don't
So heartbreaking. 3 yrs in the woods and no one found her. Just thinking what she went through being all alone in the woods lost has me in tears. So glad her family is now able to have her home and she may rest in peace
Worst part she didn’t have her phone like they said she probably forgot her phone at her brothers house now imagine her lost in the woods, at night, she has absolutely no idea how or when she got there, tried to take her phone to call her brother for help. But only to realize that she left it at her other brother’s house a few hours prior and died in the woods outside of her car while trying to find help or a clue about the area she was in
So sad😢 RIP🙏🏻

OMG! This is my half sister Chelsea Collier's Grandmother! My Sister's Dad wanted nothing to do with a child and never told his family about her. In 2019, she began her search for her paternal Grandparents. She was too late to meet her Grandmother. She was able to go meet cousins and aunts and uncles last Thanksgiving who welcomed my Sister and neice with open arms..
You guys have helped me twice now without even knowing that! ❤️
I am really! So very sorry for your loss 😢💔
I live a few miles from where she was found and can completely understand how nobody noticed the car for so long, there is so many little side roads and so much land around here that nobody ever goes on.
Thank you AWP for everything you do! Stay safe out there and keep up the amazing work ❤️
With all the people that ride 4wd and quads etc...it is Still a wonder it took that long for Someone to go that way.
It's amazing that a bright blue car could lie undiscovered for 3 years before being found!
When dealing with the elderly u always have to think outside of the box my grandfather drove the same route over thirty years but one day out of the blue he gets lost super confused and had no idea where he was thank goodness he was safe and found by wonderful people.Thank you guys for everything you do .
Unfortunately, this channel can only search logical locations and sometimes a few out of the box locations. That can't physically search every spot in the county.
My great aunt took off walking in her night gown. A lady picked her up and she could only give directions to her sisters home which happens to be more than 40 miles away. Bless that lady's heart she gave her a ride to her sisters home. Truly scary ordeal. Fyi if you find an elderly person call the police do not take them miles and miles away like happened to us
My first thought when they mentioned dementia and avoiding main roads was to check the outskirts of her typical path and most areas between it. When someone becomes confused or lost, they won't be able to be in typical places for them since, well, they don't know where they're going.
I will say, I've had to get directions back to my aunts house a few times when she got lost on her normal ride home.
i started crying the poor thing was probably still conscious and going through so much pain then passing away alone in the woods with nobody to help her my condolences to her family and friends for their loss she looks like she was an absolute gorgeous kind and generous human glad she was laid to rest peacefully..
It’s scary how close her car was to the road and no one was able to find it for over 3 years
With all the people that ride quads off road.. it is a wonder.

My stepfather runs an autobody. He'd park cars in the back out of public eye. Nature takes over fast. I know there's a boat on the property too. Only saw it once when he put it back there. All my years hiking and exploring the property, never saw it again. I'm assuming the multiform roses covered it.
Being February when they found it, leaves aren't up yet. Late fall to early spring are best times to see what's beneath.
Even if these guys didn’t find her themselves, it was wonderful to see people making such an effort! There need to be more people like this.

I love your videos ❤
Couldn't family have helped her with things.
I spent a long time as Police officer and often dealt with missing older folks. Doug’s statement t(at she would be using her cars GPS is not necessarily true. An 84 year old especially with dementia or even if angry would rather use dead reckoning. The old “hell I know where I’m going” scenario. Great job on this one guys. Please keep doing what you do.
especially with how needlessly complicated gps systems can be on modern cars. i know alot of older people who even when they dont know where theyre going would still do the whole "i know this town like the back of my hand" approach till theyre needlessly lost in the middle of nowhere.
From my understanding, her car didn't have a GPS unit. :(
I work in a life care community from independent retirees to assisted memory care wards. The memory care ward has to be locked off cause many of them, bless them, still think they can drive themselves home or go and do tasks they used to being able to but can't.
I stopped an elderly lady once who thought she was in another town which was 14 miles away. I see where they get confused, my dad had dementia before he passed away in a nursing home last Nov 15. I’m still trying to come to grips with my mom dying at 6:30 in the nursing home and within an hour dad passed away. But yeah dementia is rough.
@@Chris_Clark1MaidenFan in the early 2000s my sergeant stopped to check on vehicle “broken down” on the side of a state highway going through Memphis Tn. It was almost midnight. The occupant was an older lady who said she was going to Walmart. There was a Walmart about 2 blocks away so no factor. Until we saw she was out of gas, and was from Kentucky. We managed to call her son and lo and behold she had been missing for almost 10 hrs. She was lost as a goose and had no clue where she was. We have an emergency commitment law and we placed her into protective custody and got a nearby hospital to hold her until her family arrived. Ended well but could have been very tragic.
You may of not “found her” but you probably helped having her be found because people locally remembered her case, so when her vehicle was found, it was reported immediately.
It’s scary to think how many missing people are just out of sight.
Though you werent the ones to find her, you set in motion a renewed interest in her case that got people looking in non obvious spots. Thank you for doing all that you do. I remember when Mrs. Collier came up missing just one county over from me. I kept hoping they would find her alive. When they finally found her body I broke down in tears. Then knowing her family finally had answers but just thinking of her being out there alone is so awful. I wonder how she found herself in the woods.
How sad all alone in the woods with whatever was wrong with her how dreadful. My condolences to the family and thank you to AWP for all your brilliant work.
I saw a TikTok where a lady seen a van stopped on the side of the highway and thank God she looked because on the passenger side was a little elderly lady who tried to climbed out and was laying on the ground, cold and wet, she seemed to have dementia too. Had that lady not stopped and thought it was a broke down vehicle like we see everyday, that elderly lady would not had made it

Don't get me wrong I'm not saying what they are doing is easy at all but it does make me question what the police are doing because with just a little bit of common sense and some critical thinking these guys are finding missing people with pretty much the same information the police have only they are finding the people not the police, so what the hell are the police doing?
Many police officers are low IQ, don’t care, and are LAZY!

You guys are amazing. You have found two people that I was advocating for since the day they went missing. Virginia and Thomas Thornton. Thank you for all the work y'all do.
I grew up here on the little warrior river in Alabama and there are so many roads that would be incredibly easy to drive off of and go into the water. I often wonder just how many of our missing person’s are in there waiting to be found.
Even though you guys didn't find her. She was found. That's what's important. Because of you and people like you and your crew, many people have been found. Glad she was found even if not by AWP.
Glad she’s home. Your work helps to make this happen.
Same exact thing happened here in south MS. She was found 3 years later outside the car. Close to her nephews house. So close, yet so far. My sincerest condolences. 🙏
A missing person in MS? That's so sad. My grandma had dementia and it worries me my sister or I'll end up with it. 😞 My condolences go to both of their families.
Thanks to you guys I have the equipment and sonar tech to search for people. I do not want a spotlight as I believe it actually ruins familys' memories.
This is a bit personal but I will share it: Because of you guys I had the tools. My aunt of 60+ years who had her husband of XX years cheat on her in clear as day on her security cameras. She went missing. I recovered my aunt in the water. It is the hardest thing I have ever done but my father (her brother) thanked me and he cried for at least half an hour on my shoulder. The amount of tears we shed -- but I still thank you because otherwise we would have waited for years. Thank you for the skills and instruments you have presented us.

Netflix wouldn't be bad, but I feel like they would take the authenticity of Jared and his crew(s) finding people, just to make views...by rigging it
I’d rather them profit rather than Netflix.
The offers were there and Jared and Doug said no. Said it would take away from the true meaning of what they do. God bless these men

So glad they've finally found her. Your work, expertise, and determination to help people is such a beautiful, admirable thing to see. I have so much respect for you guys, and for everyone that joins your searches or helps you along the way.
Jared, I have to say, the one flaw I see in how you search is that you think too logically when you're searching for someone elderly with potential dementia. When you're searching for a potential suicide or a simple accident, the logic makes sense, but you *cannot* apply that same logic to someone with dementia. Full stop. They get directions turned around. They confuse left and right, the gas pedal with the brake. They panic easily, get overwhelmed. They go to places that haven't existed in fifty years. Their memories start to dissolve from the most recent memories backwards, so that what they remember better is things from their twenties or thirties. If a ferry was in a spot when that person was in their prime, that's a GREAT place to look, because they might remember that better than they remember the way the roads look now. They might even hallucinate that the ferry is actually there, waiting to board. I've seen people completely convinced that a thing was real, right in front of them, because they were reliving a memory that felt more real to them than actual reality did.
People with dementia often don't feel the same senses of urgency that we do. They might panic over something inconsequential, but totally not understand when they are in a life-threatening situation. Logic often doesn't work with dementia patients. Go deeper. Look at what they might be remembering from their youth. What might the landscape have looked like then? What could be confusing to them? What might have stayed the same? If a person has dementia, those are the places to look at. Even a driveway might make sense if it's wide enough and paved, and could be mistaken for a road in the dark. Don't dismiss *anything*.
Keep up the good work. You guys are amazing. I hope you're still getting some quality time in with your families. They must miss you guys when you're on the road so much. Take good care of yourselves and each other. Be safe out there. 💕👍
Logic never works with dementia patients. Everything you said is true. They hallucinate their own world. My mother had dementia.
Can confirm that. My grandma suffered from dementia. When it got worse, she started seeing and talking to people, that weren't there, she insisted that she had to go back to work and she complained about a black cat on the ceiling. To us, her family, all of this was scary but at least we knew, what was real, while she cound't tell apart hallucinations and reality.
Maybe no gates in that area back in the day
As a nurse, I must agree with Jen Clark on this. The patient does not sense danger in their actions even when a rational person would. The farthest memories will be the clearest. Expect the unexpected in cases of dementia.
I had the same thoughts while watching and came to the comments to say similar. I think until you have to care for someone with dementia it is very hard to understand what it's actually like. I hope your thoughts will be taken into consideration by the team and it'll help them in their work going forward.
Mr Jared, thanks for your time, tenacity and desire to find these people. Don't stop
Anytime a missing person case ends up finding the person died is sad but it does bring closure for the family. It's not the outcome they hoped for but it's the one that at least allows them to put their loved one to rest. I am not a diver but watch your channel often. You really do a good service for those that don't have answers. Keep up the good work.
Like one of them said in a other video ..it's not the answer the family wanted but it's the answer the family needed
I can imagine not knowing what happened and especially not knowing where she is must be mentally emotionally so hard. But to be honest I’ve seen all these videos that were about solving the missing cases some were baffling as to why the police didn’t find them themselves. One in particular where the car was in a shallow pond another where they said they checked the lake and the team located the car nearly straight away.
So glad that this lady's family can now bring her home after what must have been a horrific three years of not knowing. Through your videos, not only are you in a position to bring answers to families, but you also bring awareness to local areas of cold cases and make people more vigilant in looking when they are out and about. Sending love to Ms Collier's loved ones and hope they can now move forward with their grieving, knowing their loved one's whereabouts.
@AWP: Although you weren’t the ones to find Virginia; with your words of encouragement, you potentially helped other searchers learn how to go about and search for a vehicle under water. But they don't know what happened. They don't know why she drove so far north from her brother's house, why she ended up in a wooded area or how she died. Those are questions that will never be answered. But at least now they can lay her to rest instead of forever wondering where she is.
@@CircleofLifeStudios yeah
She was a person with dementia, she could of thought she was going somewhere completely different and if she realized she was lost she would of become destressed and that can make sufferers of dementia go into a kind of manic state that can make their processing even worse. My granny drove away twice. She finally answered her phone when she ran out of gas at a store. Mom took her keys. Be tough. Use a GPS tag too.
There is a point where someone should not be allowed to drive. We start out learning and passing a test wether written or by taking a driving test with a qualified instructor. We should have to do the same when a certain age is reached then friends or family would not have that burden of taking grandmas or grandpas keys away.
And everyone would be safe and have peace of mind.
This 👆🏻👆🏻👆🏻
A road test at regular, but gradually decreasing intervals, would be good for senior drivers. Refusal to do the test should result in confiscation of the license, and even the car in some cases.
In Europe, doctors agree to renewal of licences.
I'd like to see that with people in general actually (say every 5-10 years)...sometimes you see the things people who are in their 20's, 30's 40's and 50's do and wonder how the heck they even passed a driving test to begin with. hell anyone caught driving with their cellphone out should as well.
When my grandmother was in her upper 80's she drove better than some people half her age...and she had to have eye tests and medical tests every year to prove she could drive.
Now she doesn't drive (lower 90's) because she hated her last car so her son (my uncle) sold it for her (as she wanted) and she is still just waiting on when she can get a new one...not that it will be happening but she doesn't mind being driven around so far.
Until Covid lockdown began my mother at 93 was the youngest of her bridge club, all old ladies still driving and living independently - the oldest 98 years old. Now, 2 years later, these other ladies have given up driving. My mother stopped after a rib-bruising fall getting into her car in January (2 months ago), but she may start driving again to familiar places. She's still a skillful driver.

After watching this vid I went wondering through several more then found one, 5 Unsolved Mysteries That Were Finally Solved from Nov, 13, 2021 that mentioned your finding Timothy Robinson and showed a few brief photos, giving all the credit to Adventures With Purpose for solving his case. I am glad to see others who giving AWP the credit deserved for what you are doing. It was #2 in the vid.
You guys are GOD SENT you help families so much you don’t give up. I AM PROUD OF EACH ONE OF YOU. GOD BLESS EACH & EVERYONE OF YOU. 🙏🙏🙏🌻🌻🌻🌈🌈🌈✨✨✨🙏🙏🙏🙏✨✨✨
Ive not seen the whole episode but I just wanted to say. The quality of the filming is impressive. So easy to watch, so nice edited!
This may have already been said; but just because a person grew up in an area doesn’t mean they know their surroundings. Scenery looks different as farms are sold, new homes or new housing, commercial and industrial development sites go in. Familiar landmarks may have been destroyed by new developments or natural disasters. I moved out of state in my early 20’s. Came back just 5 years later to such a circumstance. With all the new development that went in, existing stores moving out, I just did not know where I was, and it was on an interstate. Now couple that with dementia, and they could be in the same predicament. Dementia minds lose 10 years for every one year since its onset. That perhaps plays an even bigger factor. If they’ve had dementia 3 years, you would need to look at access points in existence 30 years ago, and perhaps extend search areas another 30-40 miles if they lived in rural areas. Just something to think about.
Yup, I moved about an hour and a half from the area I grew up in almost five years ago and don’t often get back that way and there’s development that’s happened or businesses that have moved or buildings that have been torn down since I’ve moved.
And the area is different in places than it was thirty years ago so to suddenly become confused/disoriented the area would suddenly become confusing.
makes me so happy and proud to see all the hard work and dedication you have put into these searches to help these families
This is so tragic 😢. I can’t imagine how she was feeling out there all alone.
I Think She Was Murdered!
@@hempelchamp tragic😢
I'm so glad I found y'alls channel. I've watched almost every video. Binge watching the last 3 days. Makes me wish I could be apart of something so rewarding and amazing. Thank you for helping so many families get the closure they need. You guys are angels among us🙏😇
My deepest condolences to family and friends of Virginia Collier, prayers for strength and peace 🙏♥️
Agreed
I went to high school with Jeremy Becthal and Aaron Foster so I appreciate Exploring with Nug in what all of you guys do. I think this proves that searching in this form should be one of the first attemps to locate these missing people.
Blessings on all of you for the effort you did trying to find Virginia. This goes to show that the most likely doesn't necessarily coincide with what those with dementia will do. You can now RIP Virginia and your family has answers.
It's so sad. Dementia to me is one of the worst conditions to have. These missing elderly are dying confused and not happy. These cases are sad but I'm glad at least they are found and the family has closure. She is with them now, now able to remember again.
As an older adult...If you're in a place where you feel lost panic will set in...Please keep this in mind when searching
I'm also a solo person of that age. I bought an Apple watch with a "fall" alert. Newer models can work thru Find My Phone. Allows me independence.
Mind control helps.
So “panic” is a symptom of fear.
Fear is a crippling emotion.
Fear immobilizes us.
Control your reaction to your situation. Control your mind.
No panic.
God Bless her. God Bless the Blue for being active and kind. God Bless you guys for all you do.
She is finely home, amazing what you do for these families and you never give up on the missing.
I seen that but they never gave up on her.
@@TheRealEvvonne does it really matter who found her? She is now home with her family and they can have some peace. She can finally also RIP!
It's amazing what you do and bring peace to those families 👪 ❤️
I live in Birmingham and remember when it was on the news about not showing up at her other brother's house. It isnt closure but the family now have her back. Sad for 3 years they had no clue where she went. Back in the 1980's
my aunt's husband in his eighties was going o get her a coconut. Never returned had everyone looking for him. Luckily he came home he had went to Key West to get that coconut instead of the grocery store around the corner.
What can you say besides these guys are amazing. Just outstanding bringing closure to so many families who couldn’t get closure from police officers. I applaud you all that risk yourselves for others. God bless you all.
In the photos of "Grandma", you can SEE the love in her eyes. I am so happy the family has closure.
It’s strange how at least two people have been missing for years but when this team comes in they’re suddenly found in a wooded area not previously searched by anyone.
Glad to hear she was found but not where most people though. You guys busted your asses trying to find her. All that time and effort as well as resources. Keep moving forward and do what you guys do best. Stay safe.
So glad you guys found her and she’s home keep up the good work guys ❤️sending prayers to her family 🙏
Thank you all for the effort you all put into looking for Virginia at least she is finally home
Everytime I watch these videos I cry hard ..just so much love teamwork and support given to each case and recovery. ..my heart goes out to all the families and friends of the victims
So sad. Condolences to all the family and friends. She can now be laid to rest properly and the mystery has been solved.
Wow….I couldn’t imagine the pain her family felt when she didn’t show up when she was supposed to.
Love everything y’all do 🙏 y’all are some real true heroes! ✨💖
RIP Virginia. And thank AWP for your dedication to this cause.
Bless you all, in front of and behind the lens. These stories are important and would not be so impactful if not for the folks producing, filming and editing in addition to those in the water. May you stay safe and well in order to keep carrying on. 🙏🏼
[Edit: typo]
Amen!
I am glad the officer was helpful and respectful to the AWP crew. It is good to see them work together. It is about the lost ones and their families after all. A few have let their egos get ruffled by seeing an outside dive team come in to help.
Wow, I cannot believe the amount of people you have found since you started this venture. Just imagine the peace you have brought to all of these families! These cases would have gone unsolved and you are doing what you love. AMAZING work. 🥰
I’ve noticed that sometimes you are just off by feet, but you go back and check again. Just amazing.
Thank you for everything you do
When do you guys ever go home to your families?? Just wondering and when you do how long do you get to stay home?
I'm glad when all you guys team up/Collab, just makes it all so much sweeter!!
Love the fact you have Nug some air time and the quality of the overall production. Doug is getting really good at the clarifying question for the audience. Makes for great content.
I'm glad they found her. I think it's so sad that our elderly family members travel alone when a family member or friend could have accompanied them, situations like this could be avoided. Condolences to her family.
I agree 100%! It’s almost 9 hour trip and she had visited one brother and was in her way to the other about 10 miles away and didn’t make it. That’s a long trip for even a younger person. Could have been quite fatigued! Needed a partner for sure. Probably was extremely independent woman. Sad!
Higgins. My father had Alzheimer’s sadly we lost him seven months ago after he fought a brave battle. He would get confused about where he was and or angry at my mother and wait until she was asleep or in the bathroom and run out the door. We had taken away his ability to drive but he would still try to steal the car and he made it one time over an hour away before we found him. It’s hard to watch someone every second and it’s heartbreaking for the family going through this. Each time I hear stories like this in the news my heart breaks for these families because our health care doesn’t give us good alternatives for our elderly suffering with this illness and our nursing homes are not a safe place as we found out for our elderly.
This is why I'm all for taking driving tests after a certain age. A lot of them just don't belong on the highways anymore but nothing's ever done about it
Driving tests are a,must. My dad willingly gave up driving in his 80's. He was a good driver for so long, but at some point, he would not have been. It is traumatic for most people. Growung older and losing strengths is not for cowards. Life is not always fair, is it?
I agree. It's sad.
That’s great to see you guys and other search and rescue teams, work together. Plus the law enforcement in that town, are willing to work with you guys, and accept your help. I have a mom, who is 82-years-old, and my sister & I refuse our mom to drive by herself, because she has Dementia. We don’t let her drive alone anymore. My heart and prayers go to Virginia’s family. RIP Virginia 😪🙏
Really happy to see LE working WITH you on this case. Providing information, as they say communication is key. Like to see us going back to the foundations. Amazing what can be done when people work together!
Searching in my neck of the woods. You guys are AMAZING. Thank you for what you do
Thanks for bringing us up to date on this case. I'm glad that she was finally found by someone. Peace to the family.
Exploring With Nug is the best! Jeremy is such a so down decent man doing it for ALL the RIGHT reasons! Gotta love him!
AWP are absolutely amazing human beings. Thank you for what you are doing for these people and their families. I just love you! Stay safe out there and keep up the good work you are doing. RIP Virginia.
How. sad all alone in the woods with whatever was wrong with her how dreadful. My condolences to the family and thank you to AWP for all your brilliant work.
Bringing closure to the family is worth countless words. Gentlemen God Bless what you do.
Thank you guys for finding people’s loved ones like this. You’re truly amazing and awesome for these selfless acts ❤️
Love watching your videos and the closure you’re bringing families!
I was actually watching the Jeremy and Erin recovery video. On exploring with Nug. Which brought be to you guys. Been a loyal viewer ever since. Both channels I found purely on accident. But a good accident! So glad there are people out there, doing the work others wouldn't bother with! Huge Karma points for you all!! My favorite part is when you say you brought them home!!
*Seems like many missing persons anymore are found underwater somewhere, and in a vehicle. Sad, yet so many unanswered questions as to their demise.*
I love how you guys actually work together with other teams and learn from each other, and even if your not successful the first time, you go back and search again using new information but never give up until you find them
You guys are just amazing what u do for all of these families
I love the videography style and the way you interview and explain the equipment. Also the arial footage with news clips gives an awesome touch for the viewership.
