- This is a walkaround of our 2007 Toyota FJ Cruiser that we built up for Overlanding. Although we are not finished with it just yet, it is done minus some upgrades. Thank you very much. It has definitely been a work in progress. I used to load trucks so using every inch in ingrained in me lol. I am hoping that this setup will last us a while as I really like it right now.

Awesome rig and video. I am installing the rhino rack platform and backbone combo on my FJ soon. I have heard recent concerns about the low off road rating in some videos..have you had any issues with it with the weight of the RTT? Thanks!
Hey Paul! I have had the iKamper on top and now the GoFSR Evolution on top. I’ve had this thing all over the US and have had zero problems with it. I also have a Waterport on the rear, RHINORACK batwing awning on the side, a 23zero shower tent on the other side, pod lights all the way around, WeBoost and light bar in front. I’m gonna say it will hold up to some weight. Lol. The new version is much better than the others.
I do need to do a video on a better way to install it on your fJ than what Rhino Rack suggests. When it comes in let me know and I’ll fill you in on my little secret. Lol.

Oh well, it was a good deal. Waiting on the new backbone to come in so I can mount the platform. Didn't know it could be mounted different ways 🤔. Interesting
What small cube LED light did you fit to the rear bumper...I'm searching for something about 2" x 2" and these look close.

Any problems with the door hinges and the extra weight? Bulldogs are the best :)
I can tell that my rear door is starting to sag a little. A very little But I know it will be a problem in the future. I have recently ordered a swing out bumper in order to take a ton of weight off it so it will not break.

Yes I put a spray can bed liner on it. Doesn’t look perfect up close but definitely is effective. I appreciate your kind words!
What did it cost to add bull bar to front bumper
I work at the school so it only cost me around $50 for the metal.
Are you above GVM now, looks like a very heavy rig now?
Never have weighed it but never have had any trouble or reasons to weigh it either. I get a lot of questions about that.
That must be a concern in certain parts of the US an Le for others it’s no worry. I see tons of built rigs that would exceed this and nobody I’ve seen has had any trouble with law or anything.
I'm not sure about that"bush" guard
It’s homemade but works well. A little tight fit but the welding shop did a great job. I think it’s brush guard though lol
