Hello good video. Just a couple things. Firstly the NAPA Building reopened years now and is the venue for many shows and events. Secondly the stores in Port of Spain usually close early on Saturdays but the day you visited was a public holiday hence there were even more closures. Thanks for sharing the experience. Have a safe flight back to Amsterdam.
I'm from Trinidad I live abroad Its a beautiful island The nature os beautiful Forget about the tourist attraction Hiking. Waterfalls, beaches and good food Enjoy your 2 day. ❤
I’m glad you were able to visit the Stanmore Avenue SDA church! The ritual you were referring to is called “Communion Service”. Something that is done to remember the death, burial and resurrection of Jesus Christ! 😊
Trinidad has the Pitch lake one of the seven wonders of the world, it’s the 5 largest Oil producing in the western hemisphere, Methanol, and Natural Gas. Lots of resources, Tobago caters more for the Tourists. Have fun enjoy Trinidad
Last time I went to trindad it was 1997😔 spent Christmas there in 1989 watching casablanca practice for carnival and clash and seeing renegades too. 1997 I remember the kids going crazy for Chris garcia and Marshall montano showing up as cousins school as a surprise.
Trinidad is more the industrial part, and Tobago is the tourism part they are both beautiful islands but to see Trinidad tourists' sites. You would need to rent a vehicle it has places like. The Zoo, Maracus Beach, where you can experience the famous bake and shark, The Bird Sanctuary, Pitch Lake, a lot of water parks, the Mud Volcano, and so many more site seeing sites. Yes the crime situation in Trinidad can put a sour taste in your mouth, just like around the world and sadly the public choose to advertise it more but we are a welcoming, loving, and fun set of people that know how to lime and have a good time. Hope your stay was enjoyable, and I hope you will come again for a longer time and experience our site seeing sites 😊
