Clone Commander Devis CT7489 u need to search a little more then...theres a couple of guys out here better than this still uploading. not taking anything away from him tho because he's pretty good
I am so glad to see there are still people making great quality stop motions with actual interesting characters and story driven plot. The level of quality from you never ceases to amaze. I can always tell the effort that you put into not only the filming and editing itself but the attention to story and detail. Your ability to create your own story within the Star Wars universe and use specific planets, characters, creatures, story elements, etc. that are unique and accurate to the Star Wars universe/lore is something only a true Star Wars fan would be able to do. And this film is a perfect example of that. Very well done. I look forward to what lies ahead in the future.
Starwars Fanboy yeah I actually have the first two heir to the empire comics and remember seeing them. They inhibit the force near them, rendering force users useless.
Wow this was amazing man! This was a great story, I loved the hologram FX and the blaster effects! The animation was very good, very smooth and the lighting stayed the same as well (I know it does change when you are outside) one of my favourite parts in the video is when the AT-RT driver gets shot and it goes silent (kinda) I also loved when he shot the tree and killed the droideka! You are probably one of the best stop motionists still out there man! One day I hope to be as good as you are can't wait to see more amazing stop motions from you!
Another great short short film my friend. Once again you build the simplicity with great character. This Clone Xel is obviously a new character to your world and I would like to see more of him most definitely. Has a lot of potential. Again I like the use of old legends elements that you're using rather than trying to keep it tied to the main universe we have now. It makes your stories unique and the idea of the Separatists going after Ysalamir as weapons against the Jedi force power is actually a good idea and one I wonder was it actually thought of before? The way you blend effects and story continues to be well done from the knocking of the tree to the water effect and the Force being repelled from Ventress by the ysalamir. All well done. Anyway I think that's it for now but knowing me I've forgotten stuff. Once again great job as always looking forward to more.
This is awesome! Your stop motion skills have gotten better over the years. And the effects look awesome. They look like they were taken straight out the movies. Just two things. It's pronounced "sala mer ee". And the blaster shots cauterize the wound due to the heat. It would be accurate to the Star Wars universe, and you wouldn't have to permanently change your figures. But overall incredible stop motion, and I look forward to seeing more in the future!
Hey man! Thanks for the detailed response in your comment! I do agree that blasters cauterize wounds to some degree, but lots of the Star Wars comics and one or two of the games still have a little bit of blood. I just like the added grit I guess? (stylistic choice) But I may consider toning it down a bit. :D Thanks for the thoughts there. And also on the Ysalamiri pronunciation, I didn't know it was said that way to be honest! Is this from an audiobook perhaps? I'm going off of the video game "Empire at War" and its pronunciation, but its possible different sources say it differently. Really appreciated your feedback, it helps a lot. May the force be with you!
Cant tell you how awesome i think it is youre still an active member of the stop motion community. loved the video my friend i was thoroughly entertained. keep it up :)
