Very helpful, thanks. Some tips on taking very cold equipment back to a warm hotel room would also have been useful.

Why are you flying to Iceland for no reason? We’re in a climate crisis. Why don’t you go somewhere you can easily get to by rail? AKA anywhere in mainland Europe.

From UK you have to fly if you don’t want waste time…. And it’s too late… we all should have stopped polluting our breathing air just at the start of the Industrial Revolution… 1760… so for London: no coal heating, no coal driven trains, no coal driven (war) ships…

Why not fly to Iceland, it's a very interesting place and I have been five times.

0.04% of the atmosphere is co2. If it drops to 0.02% all the plants die. If you are worried about the earth's health concentrate on the man made pollution in the oceans, you can even go and collect it yourself instead of interfering with others and buying into a taxation scam. But if you insist on the co2 narrative then switch your phone off, don't buy another, switch your computer off and don't buy another and don't travel anywhere or buy anything manufactured eat insects & have word with greta about china.

It's not for no reason. It's tourism. One of Icelands biggest incomes and one of the Worlds most unique countries
