Peacemaker SEASON FINALE Reaction @
ua-cam.com/video/lQF3mWw_x4E/v-deo.html
Austin moves, walks, his head movements and talks in the way Elvis did. Baz got a guy who is a great actor and he is right for doing it. He did not make the actor look like Elvis. He got the guy who becomes Elvis with his talent. It looks incredible. Austin may be up for an Oscar.
You know he used the same movement coach as Rami Malek on Bohemian Rhapsody? Her name is Polly Bennett
Totally agree.
No, he does not. To think so holds you up for ridicule and scorn.
@@larryoconnor7094 fuck you. Let people enjoy things
@@justarandomveryintelligent8934 forget the haters dude!
I was an extra on the movie and the atmosphere while filming was incredible, always ramped up to get the best shots, and that will transfer to the film. It's going to be epic.
Thank you😎
"WELL DONE ROY"!!! "WHO DID YOU PLAY"??? "THANK YOU VERY MUCH"!!! "WAYNE GOODGER"!!! "AUSTRALIA"!!!🎆🏄🙌😝💟✌
Was it all shot in Australia?
@@ct6852 I believe so, all in the Gold Coast Queensland
@@waynegoodger7115 I was a background extra in few scenes.
"If things are too dangerous to say, Sing." This gave me chills! I'm a huge Elvis fan, have been my whole life. From the looks of this trailer this movie is going to be awesome!
ua-cam.com/video/2YU1j9tc8mk/v-deo.html
This is why he sang "In the Ghetto" his record company tried to talk him out of doing it...but he was having none of it and wanted the message out there in a song....this is why he is Da Kang....by the way he never liked being called The King either.
HUGE!!!
This trailer..? reminds me of a late 90's early 00's ad for Elvis (and I'm sure you've seen it yourself!): "Before ANY one even ~thought~ about doing it..? (i.e. acoustic remakes, remixes, etc) Elvis *DID IT!* "
And THAT..? says it all, doesn't it?
✊
I was wrong about Austin. I thought he wouldn’t fit the later years of Elvis, but he looks good with those sideburns. I’m really glad that you reacted to this trailer.
ua-cam.com/video/2YU1j9tc8mk/v-deo.html
Yes...Matt, Austin looks incredible from 1968 on. The job they did on his face is out of this world.
Austin is good’ 🌟🌟
@@spencertrask8048 the only thing I don’t like was the very end the Fat Elvis his eyes looked to red
Anddddd now I'm completely sold on Butler as Elvis. Man, this is gonna be great. The King lives on baby!!!!
I loved this trailer.. it made me so emotional., The King finally getting his due..
I showed my Dad this trailer yesterday. He, and my Mom, grew up when Elvis was at his highest peak. Dad said that Elvis was a great entertainer. He had something special, a way of really connecting with his audience, that not a lot of artists have. And he was always very kind to his fans and opened his house to them because he was always aware of where he got his fame from. And he also gave shoutouts to the black artists whose music he often sang and many of them were grateful that he brought their music into the spotlight and because of him they themselves got chances to shine that they probably wouldn’t have otherwise. And by all accounts I have read he always gave the credit where it was due.
you are 100% right. Elvis really loved his fans - you can always see that when he also comes on stage and greets his fans. You can also see his love for black culture again and again.
@@matrix5000100 Well, he grew up around that culture obviously. As a kid he was open to everything and that stuck obviously.
Seeing this trailer bought tears to me. Austin Butler does an awesome job being Elvis. Tom Hanks did an awesome job also. Followed Elvis for 5 years. Elvis loved his fans. Thanks Baz Laurmanns epic film.
It brought tears to my eyes also .. I loved it
Omg the actor is as close to perfect as you can get! He SOUNDS just like Elvis moves like him AND he sings some if it. Gonna be EPIC!!!
My jaw is dropped! I haven't been this excited since Walk the Line! 😊 I still listen to Elvis, Jerry Lee Lewis, Frank Cannon, Cash, and Roy Orbison, Howlin Wolf
This movie is way passed due!!! Long live the King TCB⚡!!!!
Austin Butler is outstanding as Elvis. He does Elvis proud.
ua-cam.com/video/2YU1j9tc8mk/v-deo.html
My gran absolutely loves Elvis with every fibre of her being. She’s been telling about this movie since she found out Tom Hanks was cast for the movie, whenever anyone talks about or mentions Elvis she is the first person I think of and I will most definitely be going to see this with her
Was at a John Denver concert in mid 70s and after a break John came back on stage and announced they had spoken to Col Parker and that Elvis was coming to Dallas so got to see Elvis in 76 , unforgettable concerts, thanks again
ua-cam.com/video/2YU1j9tc8mk/v-deo.html
A lot of people forget that Elvis was THE first rock star. He had no template to follow.
He had templates to follow. They just weren't white enough lol (literally) That's a HUGE part of his story. And why he was the one to blow up. "Soul of a black man in the body of a white man"
@@Doriedejai I’m talking about being a global rock star. There was no one that had been in that position before Elvis. He had to figure that kind of stardom out on his own. That’s the template I’m talking about.
Tom Hanks is unrecognizable in looks and voice! I had read that Mr.Parker was born in Europe and went to the States in his later years and did have an accent! I knew it was Tom Hanks bc he had came out to Australia to film because the gold coast was where it was being filmed! And there were different sightings of Tom Hanks when he would go walking along the beaches nearly every morning! Hollywood often comes to the Gold Coast!
My mother loved Elvis so I know she’s excited to see this lol
just left the movie for the first time. excellent movie and as a elvis fan and a man myself i wont lie it had me in tears especially the end. well done baz!!!
The film shot in Australian with majority of the supporting cast being Australian playing American characters so awesome. Austin Butler from Arrow, Shannara Chronicles to The King of Rock and Roll what a journey.
i remember Austin butler mostly from Zoey 101.
Well, I have heard from English, Irish, and Scottish performers that it's simpler for them to play people from the United States with Regional Accents, I guess that is the same for Aussie Performers as well.
I just saw the movie on Friday!! It’s was amazing, I 10/10 highly recommended to go see it. Wonderful job Austin butler and the director and other cast members!! Great job
I hope “ Elvis “ movie has a big shot at winning the Best picture and best actor in a leading role ( Austin Butler)
and best supporting actor ( Tom Hanks) at the Academy awards next year in 2023.
ironically austin was the least likely to win the part of elvis of all the actors in the running. no articles gave him a chance and yet he has become the king to almost perfection. his look, movements, voice…indeed he may have earned himself an oscar
Baz Luhrmanns has invested a lot of power in the film and you can't forget that. Before he made the film.He asked many close friends and relatives how he was and that's what the film ended up being. I think it is wonderful that this legend is not forgotten and has made a film. God loves you do not forget. Peace and love. Best regards Bernd from Germany😎✌
To think if elvis really thought no one would remember him,45 years after his death there is almost no part of the world that does not know him even generations of people until and after this day.everybody has heard a song of elvis or has heard of him.A true Legend and the True King of rock n roll with over 600 million albums sold.I think people Remember elvis.Thank you for reacting to this trailer.a lot of reactors skipped this one why i don't know because a lot of people look forward to this movie.
That is 600 million in the US alone. By AIAA which is the official record sales keeper....Elvis sold over 3 Billion albums Worldwide. That is more than the Beatles who sold 1.6 Billion, Led Zeppelin who has sold 450 million the Stones and the Who all put together.
Quite a feat.
I would only say Elvis isn’t one of those iconic performers he is the legend of all performers they all wanted some part of him wether it was his look his style his versatility he is music
It gave me goosebumps! Elvis is bigger then life.
Austin Butler did all the vocals, too...which is amazing. Sounds amazing.
Also, TCB stands for Taking Care of Business ... his line for the Memphis Mafia (all the people that surrounded him).
This looks amazing. Cannot wait to see this film. Wow!
The only parts in the trailer that is sung by Austin is the "weeeeellllllll" part in the beginning of the trailer. Everything else is only Elvis.
@@KeepMovingOn - He did all the young Elvis songs himself and the older Elvis is a blend. From an article that I posted in this thread...but don't know here it went.
@@grafffuller3265 I have also read that. But you wrote that Butler did all the vocals, which is wrong. And in the trailer itself, none of the "Elvis singing" is done by him.
@@KeepMovingOn- When I first heard about it, in one interview...they did say he did all the vocals (which he did sing all the songs. The young Elvis is all him, and the older Elvis is a blend of his voice and Elvis himself.
I think even that is pretty good. It's not that he lipsynced all the songs. He did the best that he could. No one is perfect.
Though, I have heard some pretty amazing Elvis impersonators in my long life. Give credit where credit is due. He sang all the young Elvis songs, and they blended his voice with the original Evlis for the older versions. It is still a pretty amazing feat in my opinion.
Thanks for hold me accountable to what I said. I was perfectly right, but it wasn't for want for trying. It was what I heard in an interview. We do the best that we can do.
Have a wonderful day.
Elvis' earlier 1950's dress sense marks him as a true style icon. And it feels particularly relevant today - Cuban collar shirts, wide-legged, pleated trousers, blousons - these are all garments making the rounds on the menswear circuit, but they were also integral to Elvis’ 1950s style wardrobe. He did it all first.
Elvis Presley the King of music forever,, Elvis Presley the best singer on artist all times,,, Elvis the voice of God. Congratulations from Madrid,, Spain...i Frank . Elvis King forever.👑🥇
When you talk about music from back in the day, Elvis IS the conversation. There was Elvis, then there was everyone else.
The preview of the Elvis movie looks FANTASTIC! I hope it makes it to the big screen cinema only way to see and enjoy certain movies!
This gave me goosebumps.....Austin did a good job!!!!!
I am an Elvis fan and wow, this trailer looks amazing! Austin looks, moves and sounds like Elvis! Definitely seeing this! Oh yes Tom Hanks is in this as well. lol
This movie will break all records for attendance. Baz Luhrmann will make a lot of money on this movie. Austin Butler has his movements and voice down perfectly. Elvis fans, the babyboomers, have been waiting for this movie. I can't wait to seeit!
Have seen the movie 3 times. It’s been so long that this happens to me. Absolutely amazing movie. Brilliant performance of Austin Butler and the direction of Baz Luhrmann is so fantastic!
Priscilla Presley LOVED it, she has seen it with Tom Schilling; it is a true depiction, according to her
I think I’m going to have a date with my grandmother she’s 82 years old and her idol is Elvis Presley so I’m going to watch tis with her in the cinema to watch this movie with her she is also the one who introduced me with the king of rock and roll when i was a little girl thanks for that granny ❤️❤️❤️
I had serious doubts about Austin Butler portraying Elvis. I grew up on Elvis, and have seen many biopics on his life over the years. Of all the ones that were made, I felt the 1979 version with Kurt Russell was by far the best. Having now seen the trailer for this newest one, I'm excited to see a decent portrayal of Elvis once again. I'll definately go and see it.
There are alot of people he could have chosen but he went with a drag queen looking guy instead..
Watch the film. I felt the same way the first time I saw him on the first trailer. After 3 times in theatres, I must say you are wrong in that assumption.
@@nurlhaqchaniago6143 Saw it twice. It was good.
I agree with you on Kurt Russell being great as Elvis. But Austin delivered big time as well and he even actually sang throughout the movie as well. He definitely deserves the oscar
@@yendysmarsh You are a fool.I saw the movie with my daughter.Austin was great so was Tom Hanks.
@4:53...Elvis would be one of those in the conversation?? Are you kidding me? Elvis was the biggest entertainer of his era before he died you could take his LP albums end to end...and they would circle the Earth twice... The only other performer that came close to that is MJ. So put some RESPEK on the King's name.. LOL
100 %right GOD MAKES SUPER STAR ELVIS WAS THE 1 thank u GOD MAKING him forever young long live the king He will never be forgotten 🇨🇦🇨🇦🇨🇦🇨🇦
Mr. Boxing Moves, of his era!? Elvis is the biggest Entertainer of all time. Nobody comes close. The Beatles are 2nd in Album sales to Elvis. The Beatles sold 1.6 Billion albums. Elvis sold over 3 Billion Albums! Elvis' movies earned over 2.2 Billion dollars. Graceland is the 2nd most visited home in America...behind the White House. Think about it, Elvis is the only Entertainer ever that people from all around the World come to pay and tour his home. People do not care enough for other performers to visit their homes.
I can feel.the energy coming from that trailer. I hope the movie is as good as the trailer ..
Amazing to see how Austin Butler's voice sounds exactly like Elvis' voice... he had a vocal coach during 1 year to get to talk and sing like Elvis, and we can have a glimpse through this trailer how amazing the result is.... I can't wait to see the full result in June. This could be an Oscar-winning role for Austin... Given his vocal and physical performance and transformation here, he would certainly deserve at least a nomination
That was Elvis singing btw
But I've heard butler is singing in his early years 😊
@@davidhunt1534 Butler is singing for young Elvis. For post-1968 Elvis, they used a blending of Elvis voice with Butler's voice.
My initial humble opinion (and I realize it's just my opinion folks)?: 2023 will be the FIRST TIME I sit down to watch the OSCARS in 30 years. Just to root for Baz and the team he has put together to KICK ASS and win some awards for all their expertise and hard work!!! This is looking like it is going to be a MASTERPIECE of art.
This will probably be THE film that brings me out of my covid bunker and back into the movie theatre.
Holy shit, he was on a horsey in Once upon a time in Hollywood. He's becoming a talented character actor. Big things ahead I reckon.
Cant wait to see this! I'm a huge Elvis and Baz fan!!
Back then he was by far the biggest, nothing came even close, larger than life itself! He is still the best selling solo artists of all time in total records sold world wide. He still selling more than some artists doing today 40 plus years after his death.... You better read up about the man!
Love your reaction. I love Elvis! So excited for today's generation to see him! Elvis rocks!!!!
This is amazing. He used a movement coach! Polly. She did Bohemian Rhapsody
As a long time fan who made the pilgrimage to Graceland, this trailer tore me up. Wiped away a tear or two there. Lol. This looks EPIC. Although Tom Hanks-Colonel Tom Parker accent kinda threw me off there till I adjusted to it. Can’t wait to see this one.
Oh sweetie, he WAS the conversation.
Elvis IS the conversation.
Great Googly Moogly!!! 🙌🔥 This looks amazing!!!
I first thought, meh, just another Elvis tribute, but, this trailer has me hooked!!!!! 🎸 🎤
Big fan of Baz Lurhman. Have many of his movies
Butler doesn't really look like him but definitely sounds like him and has his movements down. 👍🤞🤞🤞
“Warden threw a party at the county jail!”
The trailer looks promising. I just hope the movie does Elvis justice and doesn't harp on all the unimportant stuff. I love this man and his music. From South Africa 🎸🎤🇿🇦
Im still in shock about how I grew up seeing Austin on Nickelodeon shows like Zoey 101, iCarly... And now he's playing ELVIS!!!
Imagine Taron Edgerton as Elton John meet Elvis Presley in this film. That would be cool.
They did meet in real life didn't they in 75 I believe
@@trishf3576 Yes they did and that's why its nice to see that in the film if they ever added it.
The Casting Director for this movie deserves all the accolades for seeing the very blonde Wilke from Switched at Birth or the Carrie Diaries as Elvis Presly, but it totally works!
Great trailer isn’t it? he no doubt learned a lot from other American singers and from the church. I am delighted they are adding that to the new film, we all work the best when working together 🙏❤️
Looks so amazing. The King still lives! Love Tom Hanks is playing the Coronel.
I wouldn't exactly call myself an Elvis fan, mostly because I'm not a big fan of music in general lol. But this film looks great.
ua-cam.com/video/2YU1j9tc8mk/v-deo.html
He is even more mesmerizing now when you listen to his tracks. Agrabah listening to him and that’s all I can say special times and special memories from my young self and to even this day
Elvis 2022🤟
Awesome! I’ve watched the trailer 1/2 dozen times!
Austin Butler...from Tex Watson to Elvis Presley! Well done!
i haven't see the other biopic but yhisshows humanity that is elvis and showing little richard made me swing in the theaters lol
My review from 1 to 10 is: …. O S C A R S.
My prediction is 3+ Oscars and dozens of nominations around the world for all kinds of awards.
Very impressive trailer! Has always enjoyed Elvis's music and now it looks like he will get a spectacular biopic. Couldn't help but think of Forrest Gump scene with Elvis since Tom Hanks is involved in this. Will be a hit!
Brilliant reaction!
THANKYOU xxx
Ngl, if Elvis didn't get the manager he did, he would've lasted longer. His actual manager made him work so hard, he had rely on drugs, which lead to his death
Brand new Elvis book, Elvis: The Quest for an Oscar, great cover, 536 pages. The book will convince you that Elvis deserves an Oscar for his contributions to the movie industry. Elvis was able to capture the persona of all the characters he played to perfection. The 31 movies that Elvis made always entertained everyone who watched them. Austin Butler will most definitely receive the Oscar for his dynamic performance in “Elvis”. It’s time Hollywood gave Elvis the Oscar he deserves. “Elvis”, the movie you must see, Elvis: The Quest for an Oscar, the book you must read….
It trips me out that it took a damn Century for this to get made 💯
Why? Have you read the book?
Thank you for doing this!
I gotta admit, I'm really intrigued, mainly because my grandma was a massive Elvis fan back in the day, so I really hope that they do this movie justice. On the other hand, there've been plenty of awesome trailers for movies that wound up being garbage. I guess we'll just have to wait and see, so call me cautiously optimistic.
Looks awesome cant wait too watch
Fantastic trailer can't wait for the film to come to the UK
Just love seeing your reactions
Loved it! Wow wow wow 🤩 Austin moving on up! Can’t wait to see it!

Thank you very much for that reaction!
Just subscribed. Always look forward to your reactions!
I can't wait for this movie...the trailer has me sold! P.S Love your T-shirts by the way😁
There are MANY that ~might~ (OK, *WILL* ) object to having The Colonel tell the tale, The Legend, of Elvis, but I disagree - Why? because what good is ANY Hero (Elvis was no saint by any means; Just an otherwise good man with a voice touched by the Divine!) without The Villain? (The Colonel was a Grade "A" Bastard, but he was the only one that saw what Elvis COULD be, and ran with it!) And that..? is a Baz Luhrmann specialty.
Methinks this will clean house at the Oscars, if Austin Butler's efforts (it IS him ACTUALLY singing I'm told...) are given a good look!
You folk, as always rock! Keep on rocking!
🥃
I love your Uncle Rico shirt!
To bad Elvis met Colonial Tom Parker. That was the beginning of the end of Elvis. Watch the movie when it comes out. You'll see.
Can’t wait to see this movie when they released it
WELCOME BACK TO "THE BUILDING" ELVIS. Welcome Back. We have missed you so!
It's impossible to find someone who's as good looking as Elvis, ONE OF A KIND

Wow. The same assignment as Elvis: 3rd Armored Division. Too cool.
Me too, I didn't have No Idea Tom Hanks Is In The Elvis Movie Either.🤷♀
Took my mom and dad to this last night they grew up with Elvis. I never been a big Elvis fan I like a few songs. Omg this movie is AMAZING . My 2nd fav movie of this year . I can see it dropping to 3 when Thor comes out but Elvis won't drop .
