I like how everyone worked together to build this and the dog 🐶 checking in was cute too! I like this design because you can disguise it with artwork or electronics.
I would like to see what kind of hinges you used, can't find spring hinges anywhere! This is exactly what I need to go over my desk and put my monitors on the bottom of the bed so when I flip it up I have my desk there.
Next time edit out all the parts where dude left the room, and the discussions. It would make the video a lot shorter and make your upload time shorter also. But I do like the design and I may use this in my own home. I was looking for a simple murphy bed design that didn't take up the whole room.
There are plans to make the bottom of the platform into a canvas so it serves a dual purpose while it is up during the day as a wall decoration. Also he has installed a storage system under the bed to maximize the usable space in the room. Thank you for the comments

I think bed is too high off floor, and doesn't have to be. If for any reason it fails, somebody's gonna get hurt.
We have had 5 people on the bed at 1 time with no issues. It was designed that high for storage cubes to fit under it when the bed is up.

He has been sleeping in it for 6 months with zero issues. New plans are to turn the bottom side into a dry erase board for his business.
