However...you could exploit this because reflected spells don't prompt counters, probably to prevent a monster endlessly casting spells onto someone with reflect. So if you put reflect on someone and only did damage by bouncing cure4 and fire3 off them, you could kill the fiends only seeing Milon.

Rubicante: Ice- or Water-elemental attacks when his cape is open. Otherwise, stick to attacks that are neither of those elements or Fire.
@@RaphielShiraha64 Nope. Going by the official wiki and they say no weakness to lightning, 2D or 3D version. She uses lightning-elemental attacks, so that would make little or no sense to be weak against such.

Programmable sound chips like the Creative Soundblaster and SNES's S-SMP (along with most modern consoles'/handhelds' MIDI-based chips) use different samples ran on different channels at different times. These could be dynamically loaded as a song plays to change instrumentation at different points of the song... or simply loaded once if you had all the instrument/voice/tone samples you wanted. In Soundblaster-land these canned sample sets were referred to as "Soundfonts" - much like text fonts contained a specific design of typeface, soundfonts contained a specific design of sounds. Some handy SB programmers even made a couple soundfonts that would allow your Windows MIDI player to use many different Super Nintendo and Playstation samples, then make custom MIDI tracks that would sound authentic. More than likely, that's how this track was made; I played around with this a lot myself 10-15 years ago. My favorite was called Setzer's SPC soundfont. I made an arrangement of the Mega Man X "cliff" theme using it. Video is on my channel, called 'Reminiscing and Tribute'

This was my first final fantasy. Beat both the original US release and the more faithful rereleases.
