Restoration and Transformation of Drill Press - By AMbros Custom

So this project I was planning to do for a long time but I wasn't sure about the final outcome. But past two weeks I started work onto this and I really surprised myself. For the transformation, the second material I choose is mild steel. And it is a lot difficult to weld these two different materials. In my bench vise transformation, I was not able to recover my old jaw by welding so I am not confident about welding MS and cast iron together and the only way to do is either built completely out of scratch or join them with some sort of fastener like I did for the top head of drill press. I completely enjoyed this build, hopefully, you guys also enjoy that as well. Any suggestion for me please leave in the comment section down below.

The money you spent on improving this drill press could have been spent on buying a good drill press.

I hope I could say the same but I spent around 30$ over this and I don't think in such price I am able to get a drill press. If it's available then I don't know about that but appreciate your comment:)
