Welcome to part 11 of my first playthrough of Dragon Age: Origin's -
On today's episode we arrive in the Brecillian Forest only to find the Dalish elves being killed one by one by the werewolves. Despite for help, they ask for us to slay the werewolves leader, Witherfang but upon our discovery, there is more to this than werewolves Vs elves.

For me the entire lair of the werewolf dialogue is the most emotional part of the game. I get teary eyed every time.
4gb patch for denerim. fixes everything. as easy to install as a mod/almost the same process
not everything, i still have some crushes, but it definitely helps.
That elf was acting alone, she said she is going against the keeper's orders. She is just a random elf. This only happens if you try to steal anything.
That chest actually becomes available after finishing the questline, so you can loot it without trouble now.
Tbf I just felt betrayed 😅 so I didn't hear what she said but I'm glad the keeper didn't send her
I don't remember stealing anything but if I'm honest it kinda comes natural to steal in this game 🤣 so I probably did oops
Ohh don't forget to give the dragon scales to the blacksmith in Denirm. Also. It might be too late but don't forget to talk to your party after main missions and give gifts to your other party members
Herren also sells the "armor of Evon the great", which can be used with Wades heavy dragon armor. My armor of choice when playing AK. But if you hand in the second set of drake scales or the dragon scales, Herren will refuse to offer services anymore.
Ohhh....you know what's going next....the deep roads. Don't play it at night.

I don't think anyone likes Maferath [husband's name]. He was even killed by his own sons after they learned he'd betrayed Andraste. Not only does Andraste contrast her earthly husband (as in selflessness vs selfishness), but she also contrasts The Maker. He's depicted as a figure in black robes that cover his entire body, with only a golden crown atop them. Meanwhile, Andraste is usually illustrated in a white dress with golden knee-length hair. While he ignores humanity, she still feels for them and influences them in her own ways for the better. Personally, I theorize that Leliana's dream came from Andraste, not The Maker.
-"I wonder how long this game took to develop?" About six years. Quite the contrast to the game that follows it (Dragon Age II) because DA 2's development was rushed by BioWare's parent company, Electronic Arts. DA 2 came out in 14 months 💀 For what it is, I think it's pretty good
-Probably for the best you chose Surana instead of Tabris judging by your reaction. The Dalish treaty plot is pretty heavy and if you'd played the City Elf origin, it delves into similar dark themes. Origins can be pretty grim sometimes - more so than DA 2 and DA Inquisition
Maybe someone has mentioned this before. But it might be a good idea to focus Leliana to fighting with a bow since she already has points for being a Archer. Zevran has points for daggers. Also Sten should wield a two handed sword. Its up to you of course, but they got points for wielding those kind of weapons. Keep up the good work, it's fun to watch!

I'm not sure, but probably you need to have a socket in an item to insert a rune. That's how I think one enchants things.
Lol, now that I realize it, Danyla had terrible luck. If she endured for just a little bit longer, you could have cured her curse along with the other werewolf humans.
I know 😢 if only she lasted just a little bit longer I could have saved her and she would be with her husband so sad
Really really enjoying your playthrough so far :) i love watching people fall in love with this series. As for the crashing you might need the RAM patch. If you are using EA launcher it’s called the 4GB ram patch, for steam it’s called the LAA patch. Super super simple and it will stop all your glitches and crashes
I'm so happy you're enjoying the playthrough 🙃 and yes a few other people mentioned the patch, so I downloaded it but not until ep 14 (which will be out next week)
Arcane Warrior is my favorite class in this game and certainly one of the strongest. But it can be difficult to get started, due to how bad your hit chance will be when starting. I found "miasma" to be essential for the 10 defense debuff to enemies.
You will be entering into the Gnawed Noble tavern more, it crashes when you enter, not leave, if you are using Steam, verify the files, some may be missing. Look at a weapon, if it has an empty rune slot, bring a rune to Sandal and let him enchant it...Enchantment
it's really nice watching you play. You seem very chill and empathetic. Glad you're still enjoying the game, i wonder if you'd play Dragon Age 2 after this one ends.

@@kiki_malikiin my opinion they all get better and better. Tho the third one has a lot more grinding (tho the epic storytelling and characters make up for it.)

You might have missed that Leliana can disable traps, gets you XP as well as preventing accidental triggering.

The scene with Danyla the werewolf always gets me emotional, it's so sad but she can't be helped.
Honestly 😢 like I just wish she waited a lil bit longer then maybe I could have saved her
@@kiki_maliki A lot of people have thought maybe if they had broken the curse first or picked different dialogue, but no, they made no way to save her. This game is emotional!

If you have the save issue in Denerim again, loading the previous save and then once you are in game load the newer one should work. You must be close to done by now but it could help you with the landsmeet content!
DA:O has a memory leak, each time you move to a new area you will notice your load times increase. If you save and quit every hour or two (or when things start getting wonky) and reload you should have fewer glitches.
I've started to watch your baldur's gate playthrough too, but because I haven't played it yet through, I have to save that for later. I like to play blind too.
Oooo I loved BG3 in planning to do a Dark Urge playthrough in the future 😊 but I hope you enjoy the current playthrough

Those tombstones are actually worth interacting with if you want some the rest of the pieces for the jugganaut armour as wearing full set of armour grants a special bonus.
If you didn't notice, the keeper didn't send those hunters after you. The woman specifically said that she didn't care that the keeper forbid it.

Buy some magic tomes, place on your hotbar to read it and learn a talent or skill. Mages can find 4, four more spells help a lot. Rogue and Warrior tomes can be found, but only 3 total for everyone, Alistair and Leliana can benefit from more talents. Bodahn, Mage tower merchant, Denerim Wonders merchant, Orzammar commons merchants.
In regard to crashes: have you installed the 4GB patch which lets the executable use more ram?
Make sure no one has injuries in battles, that makes them die faster. Use injury kits until there’s no more injuries
